"The checkin staff were great. We got there early and although the room was not yet ready they called as soon as it was. The hotel is a but retro/dated but clean and well maintained. Excellent location. Breakfast was a bit difficult. The staff seemed overwhelmed. We asked 3 times for the coffee to come. There was no toast, sausages or bacon at the buffet and when we asked it took a long time to be replenished. There seemed to be a lot of staff but maybe young and inexperienced as they didnt seem to know what to do. I would stay again as the room was good value and comfortable. Perhaps just a bad day in the breakfast room."

"Room was clean.. but things needed to be fixed. A hole in the frame of the tub, covered by the bath mat. When cleaners are off, they need to put more face clothes and towels in room. Some people do not reuse face clothes and towels. So it would be nice to have fresh everyday. Plus when there is four people in the room you need more then one roll of toilet paper. Breakfast staff, you couldn't ask for better, they went above and beyond. One could not eat fried food, so Monday morning they made scrambled eggs. So appreciated. Overall, we are very appreciative of that we had a room that worked for us of access the outside and inside easy... The staff on the front desk, were very polite and friendly. Always with a smile. Yes, we would stay there again. Thank you very much."

"This was a perfect location for a girls three day weekend! Another bonus is that it’s pet friendly!! Scenery is fantastic. Pictures on site are what you get. It was clean and spacious. Extremely close to Lewisporte( basically just down the road) and Gander is under an hours drive if you’d like a larger town to visit. There is a hot tub but we did not have an opportunity to use it. The host is quick to respond to questions and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. It was our first time vacationing in this part of the province and we’d definitely go back again!!!"
