"Cassendra staff eere welcoming and helpful - even before I arrived. They helped me find affordable transport for a day trip and when needed were able to serve my dinner extra quickly. Wifi was touch and go but ultimately held for a few video calls. The hotel is a bit old but rooms are spacious and clean with great bathrooms. The location is know to tuktuk drivers and the mountain offers amazing views. Its also very close to the best Kandyan dancers (5 min walk) and a view point!"

Room was really spacious and we loved the balcony overlooking Kandy lake. Pool was small, but good to dip into! Although it was quite chilly. Really great location too. Only thing I would say is housekeeping was quite late in the day!"

The location is a bit outside of kandy about 10 to 15 minute tuk tuk ride but the prices for food and drinks are very good value and the view is amazing so we only ventured out at night once over our 3 nights.
