Nestled in the charming village of Gargas, in the heart of Provence, France, the single-family house "Les Iris" offers an exceptional holiday rental experience for those seeking tranquillity and comfort in a picturesque setting. Built in 1989 and thoughtfully renovated in 2014, this well-maintained property is situated outside the resort area, ensuring a peaceful and private retreat. Set within a fully fenced plot of 1,300 m2, the residence provides generous outdoor space, a private swimming pool, and dedicated parking facilities, making it an ideal base from which to explore the natural beauty and cultural richness of the Luberon region. A carport is available on the premises, offering convenient and sheltered parking for your vehicle alongside the open parking area.

Outdoors

The outdoor spaces of "Les Iris" are thoughtfully designed to invite relaxation and enjoyment throughout your stay. The expansive 1,300 m2 fenced grounds provide ample room to unwind in complete privacy, with the surrounding natural landscape adding to the serene atmosphere. The private swimming pool, measuring 10 x 4 m with a depth ranging from 80 to 150 cm, is secured and equipped with an internal staircase for safe and easy access. The pool is available seasonally from 1 May to 30 September, allowing guests to make the most of the warm Provençal summers. The generous yard surrounding the property offers plenty of space for outdoor leisure, whether you wish to relax in the open air or simply enjoy the peaceful garden setting.

"Les Iris" was originally built in 1989 and underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2014, ensuring that the property combines character with modern comfort. The garage on the premises is reserved exclusively for bicycles and motorbikes and is not available for standard motor vehicles. Please be aware that a car is recommended to make the most of your stay, given the property's location outside the resort area and the distances involved in reaching local amenities and attractions.

This 4-room vacation rental spans 110 m2 across 2 floors and comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the ground floor, an entrance hall welcomes you upon arrival, leading into a spacious living and dining room of 42 m2 featuring an open-hearth fireplace and a flat screen television. From this main living area, you have direct access to the veranda. Also on the ground floor, 1 bedroom is equipped with 1 french bed measuring 160 cm and benefits from its own shower room, while a separate WC is available for added convenience. An open kitchen is also situated on this level, fully fitted for everyday use. On the upper floor, 2 additional bedrooms are available: 1 room furnished with 2 single beds and 1 room with 1 french bed measuring 160 cm. A shared bathroom with WC serves both upper-floor bedrooms. A terrace is accessible from the property, furnished with terrace furniture and deck chairs.

Amenities Included

The property is well equipped to ensure a comfortable stay throughout your visit. Air conditioning is available in the living and dining room, in the ground-floor bedroom, and in the kitchen, providing effective climate control across the main living spaces. Electric heating is installed throughout the property to keep you warm during cooler periods. The open kitchen is comprehensively outfitted with an oven, a dishwasher, 3 ceramic glass hob hotplates, a microwave, a freezer, and an electric coffee machine, covering all your culinary needs. A washing machine and an iron are also available for your convenience. Entertainment is provided by a flat screen television in the living area, complemented by a hi-fi system located in the entrance hall.
