Great location - average accommodations

We love being in Gatlinburg for the holidays. Our family had plenty of rooms & beds to accomodate us. Unfortunately this rental needs quite a bit of TLC before it will live up to the rate being charged. From lack of bowls, utensils, lighting, instructions on how to work the theater room, smoke smell and more.

Great Christmas vacay

We had a wonderful time!! Instacart delivers to the house too just FYI which was super convenient. We had a group of 12 adults. The girls enjoyed the hot tub and view!! The house was great for our group! The Christmas tree was a wonderful touch! The host was very prompt with replying to any questions and/or concerns. We were worried about not being able to fit 5 cars but we worked it out perfectly !

Friends get together

1. Kitchen and living areas are too small for 14 guests. 2. Bedroom with bunk bed was not assembled, bedroom was locked, but we could open it. After calling Vrbo at 4:30 PM, the owner called and told that someone will come and assemble the bed. The maintenance people Katie and John, came around 9:00 Pm to fix the bed. They gave a good service. 3. There were only 7 towels for 14 people, but then Katie & John gave 7 more towels. 4. Some of the body wash soap bottles were not filled and was difficult to get the soap out. 5. Light fixture in the living room had 2 bulbs not working. 6. Overall we feel that property needs maintenance and fixing. 7. Overall the property was not to our expectation. 8. These comments are on behalf of our entire group.

Great view plenty of room

We were a family of 13 ~ this house had plenty of room for all of us. The views were amazing and we saw bear every day by the house (which was pretty cool) we sat around the dining room table every night playing games. The theatre room my granddaughters had a blast in. I would suggest them getting a sound bar just to make it a little better. If I could offer some constructive criticism it would be that the pictures show a lot more chairs on the lower deck - there were only two, and I did tell the owner the deck needs some attention it slopes and the hot tub has about a four inch slope so the water is all the way to the one side - my hubby and sons are builders they were a little concerned that it will need some attention soon. That is not a complaint just what we noticed. The views and sunrise are breathtaking the quality time we spent there as a family is priceless. We never ran out of hot water and ac worked great (it was really hot this week outside-not inside). We also used two of three of the community pools they were great too

Wonderful!

Very clean! Out of all of our cabin rentals, this has been our favorite. The owner is very nice and responsive. Had plenty of room for our families and just made our stay wonderful!

Family trip 2022

The cabin has enough space for 14 people, many bathrooms and closets. The parking lot has enough space for 3-4 cars depending on their size, which is a lot compared to other cabins up there in the hill. It’s not easy to get to the cabin, it almost on top of the mountain. Road is narrow with lots of curves and up and downs. If it rains or snows you are stuck up there. You may think it twice before driving at night. When we first got to the cabin we had to clean the place, sweep ( there was trash underneath every furniture item, including beds), clean the toilets, wash the towels (they were all dirty). It was impossible to use the bbq/grill, it was probably never washed before. The place needs a deep cleaning. They have been doing a poor job for months, you can tell the dirt is not from a week ago. You want to make sure you take all pantry items with you bc they won’t provide any of them. No trash bags, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, nothing.

Great family getaway

The property is perfect for a large family get together. Everyone had plenty of room and their own bathrooms. The kids loved the theatre room and the views were breathtaking.

Great chalet for a family vacation

Had a wonderful stay with my family. Location is great. View was beautiful. Chalet as pictured. Owner was very responsive and addressed our questions promptly. Would definitely book again.

Family getaway

This home is in a private location. It has beautiful Views and is very spacious. The owner was quick to answer any questions. The bears were entertaining to watch from the balcony.

Beautiful Location

Pros: easy check in, beautiful location and views, core comforts worked well (a/c, hot water, wifi, etc), lots of king beds, hot tub was nice Cons: fit and finish overall, cleaning was sub-par, multiple minor repairs needed ( towel racks off the wall, broken kitchen drawer held together with drywall screws, cover for hot tub needed replacement, needed repainting in the back, theater was not functioning completely as there were inly two very small speakers and none of it was hooked up, none of the remotes in each room of the house matched the tv in the room, many remotes lacked batteries Overall: There were no deal-breakers to renting this property when we got there. Everyone slept well and felt comfortable and safe. House was a great layout for our large family holiday. The owner should stay at the property for a week. They would notice about a hundred small things that need fixing. I would say 1-2 days of basic handyman work as well as some care to things like remotes, batteries, and getting the theater more useful and this would be a 5-star review.
