We had a nice stay at Sasquatch Lodge - Gatlinburg. Rooms were clean and fresh although building itself is quite old. We were thrilled to see a wild Bear roam around in road and our houses looking for food.

Little getaway

Enjoyed this place. Enough space for me and my 4 kids. Everyone had there own space and place to sleep. Loved it. Would definitely come back.

Very Communicative

The property was exactly as described and in a great location, in the heart of the art district and only minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg. There were several local artists and shops open within 5 minutes of the property. The host was very communicative and responded to requests very quickly. Easiest check in process ever. Only issue we ran into was needing to wash a few dishes when we arrived that the cleaning crew likely missed.

I was really looking forward to staying at this residence. The pictures looked wonderful. It was advertised to sleep 13 people, but only four forks were provided. It was difficult to prepare meals because there was limited pots and pans. The ones provided were incredibly old and damaged. My daughter tripped on the kitchen rug, which was glued down. When I looked under the rug, the floor was completely falling apart and separating. There were chunks missing from the vinyl flooring. I received our checkout instructions the day before we left and was surprised to find out we were responsible for washing all the dirty towels. Yet, there was no detergent provided. So the previous guests washed the towels we used to take a shower?! That is gross. The downstairs shower wall was peeling and there was mildew on the ceiling. The shower curtain was a cheap dollar tree one that already had the original holes ripped so new holes were made so the shower curtain could go on the rings.

Perfect place but not happy with extra charge for parking

LOVED the location. Condo was perfect for our family trip. Needs more toilet paper when having that many people staying 3 nights. Also need more garbage bags!! Everything was wonderful except the extra charge for parking. Little excessive and was told to park in a gravel parking lot. We got there and there was a trailer in the parking lot. We had no problem getting all 4 of our vehicles parked in frt of our condo unit. Just think it was rediculous that we were charged extra for 2 of the vehicles to park. Will check that out before I book anywhere again. If booking for several people, it stands to reason that there will be more than 2 vehicles and when added that charge on to what we were already paying for the condo, it was a little more than I had planned BUT didn't find out about the extra parking charge until night before we were to leave so too late to change. That should definitely be stated in your information prior to booking. Other than those things, it worked perfectly for what we wanted and we all loved the location, as it was out of the main drag and the hustle and bustle. We spent all of our time visiting the local "mom & pop" shops close by and never had to deal with the traffic and congestion!
