Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Misleading Information and Additional Charges at Hotel Virat Inn
Dear Expedia Customer Service,
I trust this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding a recent booking experience through Expedia at Hotel Virat Inn in Gaya, with booking reference number 72808137801065.
Upon arrival at the hotel, I was shocked to discover an unexpected additional charge for the use of air conditioning in the room. Despite booking through Expedia, neither during the booking process nor in the confirmation email was it mentioned that there would be an extra fee for utilizing the air conditioning. This lack of transparency is unacceptable and has severely impacted my trust in Expedia's services.
Furthermore, when I raised this issue with the hotel management, they forced me to pay extra 500 INR. Meanwhile I checked with Expedia customer service agent, and she confirmed that air conditioning is included in your booking. Subsequently, hotel management took the extreme measure of putting their hotel under maintenance and removing air conditioning from the listed amenities this is also confirmed by your representative. This revelation not only showcases a blatant disregard for honesty and transparency but also raises serious concerns about the integrity of the hotels listed on Expedia.
As a loyal customer, I have always relied on Expedia to provide accurate information and facilitate seamless bookings.

There was no hot water to shower. Hotel and bathrooms were not clean.
location was ideal for my journey and the convenience of getting around..

The service was not good! Promised times for hot water Geyser switch-on was very late, tea service was very late.

Do not stay here!
Ive travelled to more than 60 countries and have slept at many hotels in India. This was by far the worst hotel experience I ever had.
Problems with the hotel:
The rooms are unbearingly cold (we stayed there in January)
We had no hot Water in our room (we talked to the management but they didnt fix it). However, my friend had hot water for short periods. Also, the management kept sneaking outside his door turning off his water heater (the button was outside the room) all the time.
No proper bedsheets, only a blanket.
T They didnt have wifi . Everytime we wanted wifi we had to wait for 30 min and Then TheyWwould turn on some kind of hot spot for a few hours. Everytime we asked for wifi They pretended to be surprised.
No paper in bathroom (I know this is common in India but a hotel who caters to international travelers should have toilet paper).
Dirty rooms and bathrooms.
Most of the sockets in our and my friends room only worked If you held the charger in you hand while charging.
Noisy rooms.
Stuff in general didnt work, like the light in the elevator.
They hade almost none of the facilites they listed on hotels.com that they had.
The man in the reception asked for tips when we checked out after this horrendous experience!
Greatly overpriced (for 30 euros a night you could usually find much much better hotels in India).
