Charming cottage with Americana themes throughout is perfect for a quiet beach getaway. Living room has cozy seating and includes a twin sleeper sofa. Flat screen TV in living room with basic cable service and BluRay DVD. The main bedroom has Queen bed and 2nd bedroom has a Double. The yard has plenty of room for kids to run and play, or simply sit and relax on outdoor chairs. At night you can roast marshmallows in the firepit (check with Fire Dept re: any burn bans). Close to downtown Gearhart Golf, and only 1/2 mile to the beach, this is truly a very sweet cottage on a quiet street. Washer/Dryer has since been added (for those who remember staying in this adorable cottage, previously) Parking for 2 cars in driveway. NO PETS, NO SMOKING MUST BE 25 TO RENT

Two things: Most important is bathroom. Not ADA compliant and it should say so. No hand rails. Additionally, commode is very difficult to access (very low height) with very cramped space, no assist handles. There is an outdoor fire ring, but the plastic chairs that are in a locked shed and inaccessible. Finally, better instructions on electronics (from TV to temp gauge for gas heater) WIFI--though WIFI instructions were fine. Would not stay here again because of bathroom. Regards, Cliff Barnett

I liked the Red, White and Blue colors of the property. The bed was comfortable. We could have used a crock pot. I liked that there was a sink in the bedroom since it only had 1 bathroom.

Winter coastal getaway

Cottage was ideal, full of charm. Deep clawfoot tub for long soaks. Fully equipped kitchen. Easy 10 min walk to the beach. Nightlights throughout for a welcoming evening glow. The gas cast-iron fireplace made things cozy (but not sure whether it would have reached the 2nd bedroom).

Nice but tub

At our ages of 78 and 80, we needed to know before we arrived that the shower/tub were a clawfoot. We were not able to get in, so had to take sponge baths. Everything else was lovely and fun.

Very nice and comfortable cottage. The only drawback was the bathtub--a little hard to navigate for older people with impaired balance. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was very appealing.

Had a wonderful time, loved the coziness, very comfortable, enjoyable the Americana furnishings. Humorously, the bathroom speaks for itself. Since we aren’t small people, it tapped upon our creativity to accomplish certain cleansing strategies! All in all, a great stay.

Girls trip

Adorable cottage which was perfect for a girls getaway. Terrific location for anyone looking to spend time up and down US Route 101. Cozy home, very clean and had everything needed to cook our own meals or just kick back and relaxing from road travel days. Would absolutely stay again!

Very clean. I understand wanting to make it like a home and comfortable, but there were so many decorative items it was hard to find a place to put our own belongings. I would also suggest a remodel of the bathroom. That tub/shower felt like an accident waiting to happen. Enjoyed the fire pit.

Bliss from the Past

It is a lovely place, very clean and asthetically pleasing. It is well stocked with needed kitchen items. The neighborhood is super quiet. The only downside was figuring out how to use the TV.
