“The location was outstanding with easy access on foot to eveything in downtown Astoria. Check-in process and instruction were clear and easy to follow. The rooms were comfortable, well-appointed and spacious for a house under 800 sq. ft. While we enjoyed the house and our stay very much, I was a little shocked and disappointed that the view is no longer of the river, but of a 3-story building under construction. Might consider updating the listing picture. ”

“This is a great place to stay while exploring Cannon Beach and further afield..The bed here is so comfortable and if you are into cooking at home that’s also a option in a well equipped kitchen..It’s chilly in December up on the North Coast of Oregon but this cottage can be warmed up to your heart’s content..Shopping and Dining are just down the street..I didn’t have any luck getting the fireplace to work but I really only wanted the aesthetic value of a fire..Other than that the sofa and lazy……

“The house is in a great location - walking distance to the beach and close enough to hear the waves! Also, in an area with some space between the houses but not far from restaurants and places to explore. The lay out of the hosue worked great for our multi-generational family (bedrooms on both ends of the house and plenty of bathrooms). The kitchen was spacious, clean, and well-stocked for cooking. We enjoyed using the hot tub on the deck. The host included lots of information about the house……

“Older home but extremely roomy for our family of 8 (grandparents, parents and kids ages 1-11.) Musty smell upon arrival but opening all the windows upon arrival helped clear that out. Short walk to the sandy beach. The painted rock beach was a big hit with our kids (don’t forget to bring paints and brushes to add your own contributions!). About a 1.5 walk to Seaside shopping and restaurant area, including a small aquarium where kids fed the seals. Lots of Lewis & Clark history in the area. ……

“Great location--across the street from the beach. Beds comfortable and living area large and welcoming. Kitchen is small but adequately stocked for basic meals.We played board games at the large dining room table which could have benefitted from a little more light.Cute home, lovely stay!!”

“The host was very welcoming and allowed an early check in and a late check out and guided us through how to access Netflix on the TV system. The house is very close to the beach and all other amenities. We would definitely stay here again.”
