「We stopped in Geilo because of the way back to Oslo from Bergen. We knew nothing before arrival but we finally knew that it’s the great place for skiing. After our arrival, we checked in at 7 or 8 pm but the staff still told us the necessary information. The room is spacious but the interior of the ground and underground are in progress of renovation. 「Beautiful new deluxe room with large, furnished lanai and rain shower. Housekeeping is only on request but is prompt when asked.」

「In between ski season and summer season catering for bus tours and us. Bar and restaurant closed. Electronic check in so no human to ask questions. A little out of town but we enjoyed the walk. Cleaners tried to help with our questions and the breakfast staff apologized for the chaos left by the bus tour. I don’t recall their website mentioning that there would be no check in staff between April and June.」

Arrived late on the day and already told the camp site, then found that they didn’t provide the self check-in code as they thought payment was missing.
