Rhodes Gennadi Beach Hotels

"Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt für eine Woche (Frühstück und Abendessen). Das Essen war top! Sehr tolle und vielfältige Auswahl. Super Service, top organisiert. Am Strand war es sehr chillig. Keine nervigen Anfragen ob man bei den Aktivitäten mitmachen möchte oder so. Eins unserer kleinen Highlights: die Astronomy Night. Wir haben sehr viel gelernt und vermutlich einmalige Blicke in die Sterne werfen dürfen (es gab zwei Profi Teleskope). Auch die Anlage war top in Schuss. Gibt genug Liegen für alle. Gym und SPA waren auch top. Super freundliches Personal. "

"I love this place - It is exactly what I was looking for - A quiet, small resort with a private beach just in front of our accommodation. This resort comprises something like 15 rooms, an apartment and a villa. All rooms have sea view (except for the ones at the basement, which can enjoy a cosy outdoor area though) The room is spacious and clean with a/c and a fridge. The highlight is the breakfast/lunch area - it’s outdoor with sea view under the shade of trees. Scenic indeed. I did appreciate the staff as well. Professional indeed, considerate and always smiling. I am vegan and they accommodate my needs perfectly. Food is good as well. The resort is close to Gennadi town, 10-min walking, where you can find excellent restaurants As only improvement area, I would recommend to upgrade the gym as it is not functioning whatsoever, not even for very basic training. Other than that, all the rest is great. Thanks for hosting us and I would definitely consider to come back again in a future trip to Rhodes"

"Villa Thalassa was absolutely perfect for our needs. The villa itself is welcoming and clean with a wonderful garden with lovely shady areas to sit, lie down, eat breakfast etc. Best of all, it is right on the beach which genuinely IS deserted, even in July! It meant everyone was happy! Those who just need to be snorkelling/cooling in the sea, then want to lie out either in the sun or shade, as well as the teenagers who need to escape to a bit of air-conditioning and a social media fix! Also for animal lovers, we had the joy of a cat, a few Dama dama deer, a hare, some beautiful birds (incl a hoopoe) and a number of lizards visiting the garden. Delightful! I think a car is pretty essential in the summer as the 2km walk to Gennadi would be hard when temperatures are in high 30s/low 40s. It also means you can explore the beautiful island of Rhodes. Highlights for us were: Valley of Butterflies, Old Rhodes Town, Lindos, Prasonisi, Monolithos castle… Very sad to be leaving. Would happily stay another fortnight! "

"We wanted a peaceful holiday to unwind. We chose Petra Villas because we felt it was well positioned on the island to do a bit of sightseeing but also Private and away from the tourist hot spots. The pool is lovely and was warm in early June. You are literally 2 mins walk from the sea, it's like your own private beach. The village of Gennadi has everything you need greengrocer, supermarket (that stocks almost everything) and several good Greek Restaurants the town is 4 mins by car and 15-20 to walk. Gennadi is a small residential town and feels welcoming. You could easily stay here without a car if you wanted to stay local. Giannis, is a attentive host and very friendly. We would stay here again (and again) "
