房間太近馬路，很嘈吵隔音不足很難入睡，而且每晚四點多都被旁邊的廟念經嘈醒，睡眠質素差，房間是很漂亮的，可是很多螞蟻，需要改善

唯一的缺点就是太吵闹，房间就在马路边，夜里的摩托车汽车声特别清晰，本身就不易入睡，加上这些吵杂声，睡得很不好。

It not a place to stay on weekend.
We stayed on Saturday. It was clean and nice hotel. We really liked it until midget I heard none stop club beat sound from somewhere in midnight until 5 AM in the morning. We cannot sleep at all. I’m not sure if this happened only on weekend.

ホテル自体はおしゃれで綺麗です。こだわってリノベーションされたんだなと感じます。シャワールームとトイレが別なのも良い。 しかし、ホテル近くに明け方まで爆音で音楽を流す飲食店があり、さらにホテルの前は交通量の激しい道路。 窓や壁に防音設備が無いからか、とてもうるさくて眠れず、耳栓を買いましたがそれでも鳴り響く騒音。 どんな環境でも眠れる方のみ、おすすめします。

Torn experience with very good and very poor bits
Never have I had such mixed and polar feelings about a hotel. All of the service, the actual building, and the location gave me extremely good and bad experiences.The Indian lady who came to fetch me was courteous and friendly. The first impression of the room was fantastic - high ceiling, spacious, fully equipped kitchen and tasteful, stylish decor. Location-wise it is smack in the middle of historic Georgetown with easy access to the most delicious food. Seems too good to be true... and it was. Came back after 21:00 when the front desk is unmanned and discovered all the things I didn't hope for. My key card got demagnetized and there was nobody to help. I was finally able to find this gentleman who sat outside (not in uniform). Turns out he was the security guard who managed to get me someone to get me into my room. The service attitude was good, but the scare was too much. Then, I realized the toilet was not cleaned - human excrement in toilet bowl. Wifi is at a speed that it is virtually not functional. The redeeming two points were the hot and stable shower and the very comfy beds. The air conditioner is not cold even when set to the strongest possible setting, so sleeping with the blanket is not an option. Crazily loud music with heavy bass blasts outside somewhere and even with my 3M earplugs I could not block it out. Motorcycles also zoom by very loudly throughout the night. No sleep whatsoever, despite bed being so nice. What a torn experience at such a pretty hotel!

Great location, big room.
Convenient location. Big, clean room. The only disadvantage is the noise from the street and nearby night clubs, but it is tolerable, considering all other merits.

Not a good value for money
Hotel is located in a nice old historical building - well restored. Rooms are large and generally speaking quite comfortable. However, I do not recommend this place as the service is poor : reception empty most of the time, no breakfast options, rooms are very noisy etc. As the hotel is not cheap, I would have expected much better services there. I do travel A LOT and I believe that there are better choices in Penang

Charming place that's conveniently located
Fantastic stay at this charming old shop house that's converted into a hotel. Rooms are very spacious and there aren't too many rooms, making this a nice and cosy place. Location is central and just opposite the famous food street. The noise from the main street at night could be quite loud but is bearable. The room lock is problematic and often takes a while to get into the room. Friends in other rooms have the same issue.

Lovely Stay in George Town Penang
We had a great time in Penang. The hotel was great a very large room everything update. Very Cean with friendly staff. The location is excellent in Old Town George Town.,near the komtar central bus station. Food in the area is delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel to others

非常值得住宿 Pretty new and pretty nice!
老居新修不久，屋內非常大寬敞、高檔傢俱及浴室和廁所分開，有很多小意外的裝備如微波爐和杯、碗;走不遠就到喬治城和光大公車總站...雖然位繁忙的馬路邊有些車吵，但是不影響我們. 仍然非常建議值得一住. Our stay was very pleasant the staff was great! The room was very large,clean and equipped with every thing necessary. The location is George Town near the Komtar Central bus station so walking distance to everything! We would recommend this to all!

Beautiful Colonial Shop House
Nicely refurbished colonial shop house with 5 star interior decor. Good customer service. Only gripe is the traffic noise generated from the main road.

Comfortable hotel excellent location
Lovely hotel within the heritage center close to most of the sights in the city center. Good attentive service and any minor problem dealt with quickly .

Boutique hotel designed by ministry of Design
Location is superb. Within walking distance to many eating places and George Town street art. Love the spacious room layout with high ceiling and brick wall. Staffs are friendly and cheerful.

Nice hotel at a good location
Room is comfortable. Parking is complimentary but at the roadside, so not that secured though. Location is quite unique, noise is still ok with the heavy curtain.

Need to stay here once!
Really love the services provided by LTK rescidences. We really enjoyed our stay and love the room. It is a nice and lovely place to stay at. It's not a big issue but the traffic noise is abit loud. Other than that, everything is great! I've reccommended this place to my friends and I will not hestitate to settle my accommodation with LTK again. Lovely stay at LTK
Wonderful stay with LTK where the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very spacious and room is very clean and comfortable. A little noisy at night as the hotel is located at a very busy junction but this place is very convenient. Bed is a little too hard for my partner but they do have 4 types of pillow to choose from.

The location is not good.
First of all, the location is not good. It is very noisy with cars because the road is even not one meter from the window. Moreover pedestrian overpass is just above the window. So the view is also bad. And the neighborhood doesn't look safe there weren't many people waliking at all when it is dark. I always even during the day closed all the curtains with those reasons. One thing nice was the room is very clean and interior was nice and they provide free ride from and to the airport. But that didn't compensate for everyting. Wifi connectin was so weak I couldn't do mobile banking. Breakfast served int the room was not good. Juice watery and the fruit all went bad smelling bad.

We loved it here. The room was lovely, staff were great and there was a feeling of a personal, private apartment as there are only 5 rooms. Highly recommended.

Great Alternative to the Large Chain Hotels
Stayed two nights in Georgetown. Loke Thye Kee Residences proved to be a nice change of pace from the usual large hotel chains. First off, staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room itself was fantastic mix of the renovated colonial building but with modern finishings. Very comfortable and kept amazingly clean. Breakfast is included and served in the room which is a nice touch though I was hoping for a few more options; though it's nothing to get worked up about. Location is nice being a bit away from the more touristy parts of Georgetown and fairly near the more interesting neighborhoods. They even let me and my girlfriend check out late on Sunday without charge! Only downside for me is that the residence is right on a main road where cars and motorbikes will sometimes run their engines loud late into the night. Overall I thought the place was great and would absolutely stay again the next time in Georgetown/Penang.

Best place to stay in Georgetown!
This newly-built hotel, currently with only five suites, is far more personal and cosy than the grand but stuffy E&O where we also stayed during our trip. It keeps the character of the old building but is stunningly modern inside. We thoroughly recommend this hotel and can't wait to the new suites that are still being finished. We did not hear any construction on the new suites whilst we stayed at this hotel. In the rooms you get lots of cute and quirky amenities and the wet-room shower in particular is great. You also get a private terrace. The location is pretty much unbeatable and the World Heritage Zone is a short walking distance away. This review doesn't do the place justice and we cannot wait to return to Lole Thye Kee on our inevitable return to the gorgeous Georgetown.
