Always a great location to stay in Penang. Convenient location that's between the George Town and industrial area. Plenty to eat around the area and short drive to Queensbay Mall.

check in and 1st impression on room condition
the room was not cleaned properly. debris was not cleaned. "unwanted stain" on the toilet bowl. cleaning job was not done.
when checked in, my info was not received by the hotel. but the staff was very helpful and dedicated to rectify the issue.

I checked in on 01st July for two days, the receptionist was very professional in handling my reservation. I'm very concerned about the on going COVID 19 epidemic and i was given format question regarding the virus, unfortunately your hotel DID NOT record my body temperature, which is unsafe for other guest. I'm a ex hotelier for 25 years with international chain of hotels. International news and local news are very important for me and your hotel did not provide TV channels and the receptionist informed me that its under repair, hotel is trying to save some money by not subscribing due to the above epidemic,what about news paper for two days. Please check your public advertisement on the web of what your're providing.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your feedback regarding your previous stay with us. We apologize for the experience that you had while staying with us was not up to expectation due to causes as mention. To explain further, we do subscribe the TV channels, however there was an error occurred during the MCO on the the service provider side. On the other hand, we have also re-subscribe to ease the process but still the service has no been fulfilled by the provider. The delay is really beyond our control and as compensation we are currently selling 30% off from our normal rate. That's pretty much something that we can offer to our guests in current situation.
Regarding the body temperature, our staff did record your body temperature upon your check-in. Your body temperature was recorded in the Health Declaration Form, it was 35.7 Celsius degree and you did signed on it. As further information, we do keep in record all the information as required by the authorities. We may also e-mail to you a copy of the Health Declaration Form that you filled up and signed should you need a copy of it. We do take the current pandemic of COVID-19 very seriously and following all the guidelines provided by Health Ministry, State Government, and other organizations of hotels and tourism. We keep the record of every individuals who enters the building regardless the purpose of entering, all.
In previous (before the pandemic) we did provide our guests the newspaper at sitting/reading area in lobby. As in the new norms, we have to close the reading/sitting area and to minimize the items to be shared among the guests including the newspaper (and all reading materials) too. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by that matter, we have mislooked to update the amenities list and will improve on that.
We appreciate your feedback and working on to improve from time-to-time in order to serve all of our guest better while maintaining the environment safe for our guests, staff and all. Thank you.
