We view of water, boats, wildlife; sounds of waves on the rocks right outside; and ocean air were at once both invigorating and peaceful. “Lovely home with wonderful view of the ocean. The house is in the side yard of the owner’s main house but it feels separate and private. We enjoyed outings in the area during the day and cooked dinners in the well equipped kitchen at night. Owners are helpful and responsive. Highly recommend for a scenic Maine getaway!”

“This cozy cottage is in the beautiful town of Phippsburg, next to the break-taking beach of Popham State Park. With its site on the ocean shore, the sound of waves soothes your soul, and the beach lends all kinds of opportunities for exploring both at low tide and high tide. Our host and hostess were very responsive to our needs, and my daughter and I greatly enjoyed out stay.”

The only regret was that the room was booked the day before, and the price was doubled compared to booking in advance.
