It's pretty cool to stay in a historic house right in Gettysburg, and the modern touches inside made it very comfortable. For 3 adults and 2 teens, it served us well, and was clean and tidy. It's a great location, a few blocks north to the center of town, a few blocks to the National Cemetery. I went there 3 times, to honor my fallen Minnesota heroes who gave all.
One area that was lacking relative to other VRBOs I've stayed at was the kitchen. The cookware was minimal, and spices virtually non-existent. There was a pair of shakers for salt and pepper, but both had pepper. When I'm on vacation I love to grill dinner for the family, and the gas grill was pretty weak tea. On check in I asked the host if there was charcoal, and he quickly ran and got a new bag, which was very helpful.
I'd stay here again in a heart beat.
