“This was our second time staying in this property and it was just as wonderful as we remember. We had two grandmoms with us who really appreciated the spacious one-floor accommodations. Huge kitchen and two light filled living rooms provided lots of room for our group to spread out and enjoy! Hope to be back for a third trip some day!”

“This house is brimming with charm, is bigger than it looks in photos. We enjoyed a beautiful week in Gettysburg, and it was hot! How nice to return to a cool and comfortable house in the evenings! The kitchen is spacious and beautiful. Our family enjoyed cooking breakfasts and dinners together. The biggest frying pan is cast iron, and if you aren’t used to that or know how to properly season it, maybe bring your own. I also didn’t see a crockpot, but we had brought one. As noted in other……

“This was our second time traveling to the area and staying at this house. Great place to stay. House was clean, lots of room for multiple guests. Nice pool and hot tub in the yard. There’s also a nice covered outdoor patio with a TV for hanging out, outside. Owner is very responsive and good to deal with. I will definitely stay again when in the area.”

It is close to all the attractions, making it very easy and quick to get wherever we wanted and needed to go. The apartment is lovely - better than I expected. So much attention to detail from the decorations to everything available in the kitchen and bathrooms. We were able to simply relax and enjoy our weekend. “Had a wonderful stay while in town for a wedding. Quiet area. House is clean, nicely decorated and VERY well appointed. A stocked kitchen, extra toiletries, vanities in each room, robes in each closet, and tons of charging ports! They even had safety pins and a clothes steamer which came in handy for wedding prep. All the beds, linens and towels were high quality. Would definitely recommend!”

“We think Thaddeus Stevens himself would have loved this log house. We certainly did during our 3 day stay. Cozy and well decorated. A well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Close to downtown and just steps away to a local grocery. The owner, Sarah, is truly exceptional! Helped us in so many ways including making sure our kitchen skillet was returned to us after we accidentally left it in a cupboard. Hats off to Sarah, and a great little getaway!”

“We appreciated our accommodating hosts. Clean sheets and overall clean place to stay. It was a farmhouse so it had the typical critters that live in the country. Not too many farm animals left, only goats and peacocks. :( my daughter was sad. Still, I would come back again…we loved fishing!”

We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and my brother from TX smoked a ton of meat. Easy access to everything from a quite and secluded place. Would love to return again some day.”

“Lovely well kept property. It has everything you need. Comfortable beds and convenient location. The only drawback is the front bedroom has LOTS of street noise. I used a fan for white noise and earplugs. It’s on a busy street. Fire Station is nearby too. Great park for kids across the street. Close to a few great restaurants within walking distance.”

“We spent 4 nights at this property and it was perfect. The place is spacious and after a long day out and about it is great to have a place to stretch out and not be in a hotel room. Very easy to walk to many areas in Gettysburg and a short drive to other areas. We would stay here again for sure!”
