Amazing property and stay

The property was wonderful! Clean and beautiful. The host was so attentive and even texted us when there were orcas to be seen from our porch! We’d definitely stay again.

Spectacular Views

We had a great time at the Captain’s House! Very well appointed, plenty of wildlife, great deck for watching boats and seals, comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked.

Wonderful and relaxing

This is a beautiful location. We saw all kinds of marine animals during our stay. Close to plenty of stores, restaurants and activities. The sunsets and sunrises were stunning. I highly recommend staying here!!

Everything about this place is great!

It was so peaceful and the host is amazing - so nice to work with. She even alerted us when there was a pod of humpback whales out in front of the house! Loved our stay.

Captain's House - great place

Great location with great views and wonderful layout for two couples. Wish we had more time to enjoy the property - but we were distracted by family wedding activities. Very much worth another visit.

Great weekend stay

We enjoyed a weekend at the Captain’s House. It was nice to have two separate living areas on the different floors to have together and alone time. Great location with beautiful views. The hosts were great communicators and checked in with us during our stay.

Waterfront views

This is the third time we have stayed here and it was just as good as we remembered. Property is well stocked with everything needed for a relaxing vacation. So close to the water that at high tide it's like you are on a boat. Lots of wild life sightings including a family of seals we saw each day. Only a short drive to downtown Gig Harbor.

Beautiful beach cottage

I very much enjoyed my stay. The location is an easy drive from the main part of Gig Harbor and the area is stunningly beautiful. The house sits directly on the water with nothing obstructing the view. I slept in the upstairs bed and it was very comfortable. I enjoyed waking up and looking out on the water and watching the wildlife… I miss that part already! The owner is wonderful and was super easy to work with before and during the trip.

The house is very well maintained and up-to-date. Being right on the water is amazing! Quiet neighborhood within comfortable driving distance from Seattle. Owners are SUPER helpful and gracious! I would absolutely stay here again.

We will be back!

Beautiful waterfront home. We had such a great time. It was very peaceful and you can’t beat the view. We all slept so good (better than at home) and loved sitting on the deck with our morning coffee enjoying the view. The host was amazing, checking in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We definitely want to go back.

Great views

Great views of the water throughout the property. Easy checkin. Great proximity to multiple locations - we visited Gig Harbor, Tacoma, Seattle and Olympia. It was unseasonably warm two days which made the upstairs too warm to hang out or sleep but the downstairs was comfortable with windows open and fans.

Beautiful House with Incredible Views

This was a fantastic place to stay. The house is spotless, beautiful, and well appointed. It had everything we needed. The views were incredible. We loved the set up with the two different levels and two decks and loved being right on the water. The hosts were great and even went out of the way to notify us about a pod of orcas in the area, so we could watch for them. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful Sisters Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Captain's House and hope to return. It was perfect for a mom/sisters getaway -- scrabble on the front deck, walking the beach, kayaking, walking Cromwell, even a quick but cold dip! Saw lots of porpoises, too. Ah, only wish we were still there.... Thanks, Ann!
