My second stay at this hotel. Always an excellent choice! Rooms are large and comfortable. Food is excellent. Movies on the beach every night. Pool is exceptional. 24-hour workspace off the lobby with air conditioning. International outlets everywhere. And now they have a cafe and a convenience store. But the absolute best part are the sunsets. ❤️❤️

Beautiful place, helpful service

We stayed here for 2 nights. We did not use the pool or restaurant/bar, but they looked lovely from a glance. The staff from arrival to leaving were fantastic and helped us in everything they could, including transport back to the harbour for our ferry back to Bali.

Een echte aanrader!

Schitterend hotel, mooi zwembad, aan het strand (waar elke avond 2 films te zien zijn) Fiets gehuurd naast het hotel, hier zit ook een supermarkt. Op Gili Trawangan zijn geen auto’s. Na aankomst hebben wij twee Cidomo’s (paard/pony met kar) gehuurd om ons en de bagage te vervoeren Twee Nederlandse meiden hebben ons aangeraden een snorkel excursie voor 4 personen te boeken bij Go Diving. Voor ongeveer 83 euro met z’n vieren in een boot is echt een aanrader! Twee jongens gingen mee, een kapitein en ander zwom naar de leuke plekken en maakte onder water foto’s die wij later kregen. Terug van de excursie waren de kamers weer lekker schoon en stonden er twee flesjes water eh twee schone zwembad handdoeken klaar👍 Tijdens ons verblijf hebben wij eenmaal ontbeten in het hotel. Dit was prima. Zelf ging onze voorkeur er naar uit om er eerst met de fiets er op uit te gaan en ergens anders te ontbijten. Door dit schitterende hotel, eiland en sfeer raden wij dit zeker aan!

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were absolutely excellent—friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The location couldn’t be better: just an across the street from the beach, bike rentals, restaurants. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed, though it could use a little refresh to match the rest of the experience. Overall, a solid stay and I’d definitely come back!

I am not sure when the property got 4 stars. Maybe 20 years ago. I am sure you find way better places to stay in a 3 stars.... all the hotels are pretty much the same and ALL propose the same services (i.e. pool, etc.). - Food is bland and expensive - The pool has too much chlorine - Rooms need a big refresh - There's nothing around in term of food : other hotels that propose the same food as the hotel at more or less the same price. - Far from the busy area But it is already known... if you look at the previous comments, I'm not alone. Not sure why ppl rate this place as "excellent", unless they don't know better. I also don't think things will change any time soon... the manager responses are basically the same as they were 6 months ago. In one sentence : choose a 3 stars hotel in the busy area of the island... You'll save on food and transportation.

First time visiting Gilli T

We were very happy with our room and the private pool, would have been good to have two sun lounges next our private pool to relax on instead of only two chairs. Location is on the quiet side of the island which suited us, only a 15 minute bike ride to the harbour area.

Stayed at Aston sunset for 5 nights. My experience was mixed. On the pros the room was well cleaned and well maintained albeit a little dated. Staff were friendly and very approachable. I would not stay again as a result of the cons. The breakfast was very poor. Bizarre options like calamari and katsu chicken. Dry pastries which did not taste fresh. Egg station was disappointing with eggs cooked in far too much oil. The location of the hotel is distanced from the main centre, bikes can be rented from the entrance to the hotel but they are in very poor condition with no breaks, rusted chains, no gears, flat tyres so don’t make for a very good ride around the island. Perhaps try renting from elsewhere! When eating in the restaurant for lunch and dinner food was okay but service very slow! Overall mixed experience, we used the facilities in other nearby hotels for pool days and this felt much better and more of a 4* experience compared with Aston.

Hotel was perfect for us. It was a total chill which was what we wanted. The staff are so helpful. Breakfast had great choice and tadted great. The outdoor cinema was class!

Gili T'de 3 gece konakladik, konaklamamiz her seyiyle mukemmeldi. Kahvaltisi gayet cesitli ve lezzetliydi. Otelde ogle ve aksam yemeklerini mutlaka denemelisiniz cok basariliydi. Odalar, personelin guleryuzu ve temizligi harikaydi. Personel arkadaslara ilgisi icin tesekkur ederiz.
