The room was pleasant and very comfortable. The most important thing that stood was was the quaintness of it. The bed linens were white as snow and the complimentary snacks were appreciated. I feel that this place is a jewel in Gilroy that is just waiting to be trully discovered for the beauty that she is. I was pleasantly surprised!

No amenities. Right after checkin staff watched me unload my luggage. Very awkward. Then the staff duo (man and woman) began shouting "No PETS!!" Repeatedly. I did not have my pet and replied "no pets as you very plainly see". Room dirty. Smelled

The shower had no hot water and flooded the bathroom floor. There were no cups and no coffee and tea maker. That's much more important than an iron and ironing board!

It's by train tracks, yup train blows it's horn. The window facing parking lot had broken blinds, no curtain. Not dark at all at night in the room. Shower head is placed about 4 feet from ground. Gotta use all the towels to catch the water from shower onto floor. Was clean, everything worked.

We canceled our second night because the bathroom window offered no privacy. The room didn't smell bad but when we arrived at a different hotel for the second night, we realized the room didn't smell like it was recently cleaned either.

The motel fits its name. Nothing fancy. Basic room - two beds, tv, wifi, wall a/c and heater, shower pressure is slow but adequate, toilet area is tight (I can fit but if your body type is “rounder” then maybe not).
