“The staff was very helpful. However, in the 10 minutes that I was parked on the street while the staff person was trying to sign me up for a nearby parking garage, I received a parking ticket for 100 pounds Stirling. My only recourse was to pay a 50 pound reduced fine if I paid it right away without contesting it. A very inhospitable end to a fine trip. That's no reflection upon the hotel. A very bad reflection upon the City of Glasgow. The parking attendant must have been watching for us……
