「Due to a health issue I did not stay long at Hillcrest to give a full review. The location was beautiful and the hosts were wonderful and very accommodating.」

「We loved everything about this Castle Resort! We felt like Royalty staying in this historic castle…. The grounds were immaculately maintained, as were the guest rooms and all interior areas. Dinner was fantastic as was breakfast. We would not hesitate to recommend staying here!」

「I found this property to be very conveniently located. And all of the staff are exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. The one thing I would say is to be aware that electricity and power at this location are not as updated as other hotels on the east side of Ireland and to be prepared and feel comfortable to ask questions as I did. From check-in to check out every question I had was answered far beyond what I needed to know and I greatly appreciated all the help.」

「Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.」

「While the room was clean, you could tell there were some areas that need updating. Also, if traveling with luggage there are a lot of stairs to carry luggage up and down. Another thing to note is that you walk in to a restaurant, but it is where you check in to the hotel. A bit on the odd side.」

「Bit of a trek from car park to the rooms, even using the lift need to carry luggage or groceries up stairs. Room doors are very heavy and 7 year old couldn't open them himself. Otherwise accommodation was comfortable and clean, with spectacular views.」

「Wifi is a bit slow. It is a beautiful golf course in Ireland. It is a great location for sea views and walking. It has a lots of facilities for families.」
