"Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect."

"The house itself is nice but when we arrived there was a lot of rubbish around the house. The kitchen lacked glasses, cutlery, pots and pans. We bought glasses ourselves and the rest was brought after two days. The WiFi was not working and consequently the TV didn't go either. A new WiFi was dropped at the house after five (!) days which we installed ourselves but the TV still didn't work. At one day somebody stood in front of the house and wanted to show it to somebody who was interested to buy...

"Stayed as a large family for a long weekend. The grandchildren loved the garden. The main house was great, the weather was perfect so we mainly used the kitchen and outside garden dining table. All four bedrooms in the main house are bright and well furnished. The bedrooms in the annexe are more basic but fine for just sleeping in. The host was always available and responded to the couple of queries we had immediately."
