“Lovely place, nice big clean room, food was excellent, fab evening meal and breakfast, couldn't fault it, staff friendly, my only criticism was our room was overlooking the main road and as it was a hot night we had the window wide open, it was a bit noisy with passing traffic, had a bit of trouble sleeping but we would definitely stay again. ”
“The hotel was located right on the Main Street and o we looked the river, that’s fabulous. The room was nice BUT NO A/C and our days and nights were in the 80s!
The breakfast was lovely and a full English breakfast.
They only have 4 parking spots, so beware! Parking every 90 mins was tricky. But after 6pm, shoppes closed. Must move car 8am!
So, travel by train, then do the hiking. It worked out and we have a fabulous time”
“Great spot in a pretty village. Lovely countryside and neighbouring villages surrounding. Secure parking. Handy for Gloucester. Reasonably priced. Good pub nearby.

Room was charming and well equipped, although it could benefit from the one thing I couldn't find...a fan. Very warm in the elevated annexe in the summer.

“The drain in the bath room was clogged, so the water wouldn’t go down. There was no door for the bath room and toiler and the bed was only 70mm wide. But the hotel is very close to train station and the staffs are kind.”

Breakfast is later than we're used to, so a nice lie-in and glad we weren't needing to be leaving before 10am.”
“Wonderful stay. Pictures don’t do the justice. It’s a beautiful 3 store cottage, spacious and comfortable for family of 4. Bathroom was clean and Kitchen has all the essentials. Walking distance to town center. Kids had a great time and didn’t want to leave. Wish we could stay longer. ”
“It was like adream come true. Even though we did not have a car to get around , the owners gave us a contact so we were picked up when we needed it. Otherwise we walked around the most beautiful cottage area, it was peaceful, relaxing and the owners were very enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was very good. ”
