I would absolutely recommend the Woolmarket House to anyone staying in Chipping Campden. It has all the charm of a 16th century home with the conveniences and cleanliness of a high-end hotel.

Had a fabulously relaxing couple of nights in this charming and cosy BnB. The room was everything we could have asked for and breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend!

The property and cleanliness was very good, however I’m not sure what constitutes service as there wasn’t any. No room cleaning or bed make up nor fresh towels…nothing. We tried calling for two fresh towels twice and emailed twice…sent to voicemail and no reply. The room was unbelievably hot and when we asked to have breakfast outside the cook was flustered and told us she already set the table inside. I would not recommend this site which was disappointing because it was adorable.

What a lovely, comfortable and darling spot to stay. Beautifully furnished, gorgeous bedroom and en-suite with delicious beds and towels. Generous breakfast too. Recommend!

Nice place,little expensive

Enjoyed our stay but we’re surprised they had no facilities such as lounge, bar. I did not notice that it was only b & b which was my fault, however for £180.a night I thought it was a bit pricey. When we booked our evening meal they only had 5.45 and it was outside, luckily it was not raining but was cool. The meal was beautiful, really good, but they were so busy, therefore it was a bit slow.

The property provided everything required. The room the Chastleton room which was on the ground floor. It was spacious, had dinning area, plenty of storage, superb bathroom and access. Unfortunately the mattress was a bit hard for my liking but I still slept well. The only other fault was that although it was a B&B and provided us with fulll room service ie breakfast and dinner in the room on the first night (Sunday). What was disappointing is that their resturant and dinning facilities was not available to us on Monday. The restaurant is closed on Monday and we were unable find anything open in the area of Chipping Campden to find other venue that would provide dinning, everywhere was either boooked or not open. Woolmarket House could have alerted us to this, then we would have made alternative arrangements earlier in the day. The only place open to get dinner was the chinese restaurant and they only did takeaways. Many other visitors to the area raised the same complaints about the lack of food options on Mondays. However overall the Woolmarket House provided a good service but I am afraid that I would not stay there again becuase of the lack of dinning facilities in the area for the evenings.

A great couple's getaway

A great couple's getaway. Had a very enjoyable time - and the hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The parking is free on the street - but if there is no street parking, a paid lot is about 50 meters away. The location is perfect - restaurants and shops are right there, and walking up to Dover's Hill from there was a really pleasant walk. Do it! Only caveat is that the website mentioned the room was soundproof, which it wasn't - but no worries. It was a great stay. I would recommend this to my friends.

Wonderful anniversary weekend

We had an amazing stay at Woolmarket house for our 10 year anniversary. Beautiful and spacious room, so romantic with the freestanding bath. Delicious breakfast! Friendly staff who gave us tips on where to go and what to see in the Cotswolds. I would definitely come back again!
