The Host couldn't have been nicer in working with us as we were first time Vrbo users and made a few mistakes. The house was wonderful, and they had everything they promised and more. “We loved The Mountain House - the location worked perfectly and the accommodations were great. Only slight negative was the winding staircase...which is pretty tight and could be difficult for those who aren't as mobile. But it all worked out fine for us.”

“We stayed here for a weekend getaway to play golf some of the many golf courses in the neighborhood. The unit was spacious. It has 2 levels, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was very clean upon arrival. The host also left us a large basket of snacks which was a nice treat. There was also outdoor seating on both levels to enjoy. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay again if I am back in the area.”

“The best parts of Grandma's cottage were the record player and records, the binder of 1993 Gourmet magazines (my favorite year), the very detailed labeling of everything in the kitchen which made preparing meals a breeze, the comfortable beds, the fact that it really felt like we had traveled back in time to Grandma's house AND the fact that it smelled fresh and clean and not fusty like some Grandma's houses. Thank you for a blast from the past!”

“Clean, everything we needed was already there. Plenty of wood to keep the fireplace going for weekend and then some. There were 5 of us and 2 dogs and we had plenty of space to spread out play board, games, cook, and just relax, was great overall, sad to be back home. Communication was simple when i had a question, likely go back in a month or so when its warmer.”

“We’ve stayed at a few condos in the past but Kirk and Melissa’s is my fav! Everything is decorated so beautiful and it was so clean! Having a fridge is always a huge plus! The view from the balcony is lovely! Parking is convenient and it was so quiet! We look forward to staying again! ”

“We had a wonderful time, in spite of rain. The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked. It was literally less than a quarter of a mile to the hiking trails. Our dogs were very comfortable as well. One caveat. If you are coming in via RT. 209, do not turn off of Pine Kill Rd onto David Rhodes rd. Apparently GPS thinks you can go through, but it puts you on a dead end road. If you stay on Pine Kill, it will eventually route you the right way.”

“Cabin was exactly as described. Very comfortable, great spot for my son and I and our two dogs. We had a great winter getaway, and hosts were very good communicators. I would gladly go back! Lots to do in the area...”

“Everything was fine until i realized the noise from the engine room or central ac. Couldn't sleep at all... Would only give 3 stars. But the location is really close to Lego land, 10 mins drive to the park. Mobile gas station in front of the hotel burger king Wendy's around, Hope the hotel will fix the noise soon otherwise i wouldn't Stay here again”
