“The Lodge and Lantern was in an easy location to find from Hwy 1. We stopped for a night to break up our journey from Banff to Kelowna. There was good size fridge in the room and it's clear the Lodge has recently been refurbished. The room we were in had very bad wifi and we reported it, but unfortunately it did not improve. Due to the poor wifi connection, we weren't able to make the most of the tv in the room which had Netflix etc.
The rooms were quite small but the bed was comfortable and……

“The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.”

“It was not what I expected when I drove up to the property. But the staff and the property made for a very unique and comfortable stay. The staff makes you feel welcome in a cozy setting. Having a morning coffee in a quiet setting is what I needed. I will stay there again.”
