“Great spot! It is a bit small but for the three of us it worked fine. The only downside is there is no where to leave baggage except in the living room. The hot tub was great. The setting was beautiful. The host was great at communicating. Although directions to the location seemed complicated, they were easy to follow and we got thereThe first try. The host responded in a very timely manner to all requests. The location was at least 15-20 minutes from downtown Reykjavík butItWorked out really……

“Cottage is located close to commercial/industrial area and a golf course. Nice view. Stayed there for one night, 4 persons (3 adults and a teenager), which worked quite well. There's a grocery story, pharmacy, manned gas station and Thai restaurant/take out place within a couple of kilometers. Clean, new, well-kept cottage, but not super large - it worked really well for a one night stay and could have worked for a night or two more, but not for a longer stay. There's no onsite reception or……

“Vi havde et dejlig ophold i den hyggelige, store hytte #1. Den lidt ældre hytte havde sin helt egen charme og var meget pæn og rengjordt ved ankomst. Børnene elskede den store hems hvor de sov og kunne se ned til det store køkken/alrum. Selve køkkenet var godt indrettet med stort køleskab, 4 kogeplader, ovn og vask. Vi har dog savnet nogle køkkenredskaber som fx. en palet eller en osteskærer. Hvis man har tænkt sig at booke et længere ophold i hytten er det måske godt at vide at der ikke er……

“We spent our children’s school break in Iceland—it was 2 families (10 people total; 6 of which are elementary / middle school kids). This house was perfectly situated for us to see all the highlights we’d mapped out, and had ample space for everyone to sleep and relax when at the house. The outdoor area was fantastic! Wonderful spot—this made our trip!”

“Kerengi Cottage is a beautiful very modern tiny home. Beautifully constructed, and everything to make your stay smooth and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful - he built the cottage [and the main house himself]. We stayed 5 nights - family of 3. Cooked in the house for most of our meals, and slept peacefully in the quiet countryside location. There are excellent blinds to keep the cottage dark in the limited summer night, and a beautiful deck on which to enjoy a morning coffee.……
