“My friend and I stayed at SUNGALOW for two days and it was enough to convince me that I need to visit this area of Switzerland again, and stay at the SUNGALOW. The photos are accurate but do not do the views of the area or the chalet justice. Both are superior to the photos. The charm and quaintness of the area and Chalet are beyond words...you need to be there to experience it. “We stayed with 3 people (me, my husband and 18 year old son) for 3 nights in July. It is a cozy little space and a great value for the money right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen. The accommodations were as described but there are a few things that I wish the description would have included. First, the shower opens directly into the kitchen space. "6 out of 10 this hotel. Breakfast is quite good ,the room is clean. However the location is a bit remote, very few trains between the west and east stations, unless you don’t mind walking about 20 minutes from one to the other. The WiFi in the room is very weak, it often took around 10 minutes to connect, and the connection would drop within 2 minutes. Most of time I couldn’t connect at all, so it was basically unusable in room."
