“The River House is as advertised, well appointed, clean, comfortable beds, peaceful with a hot tube and the sound of a river which you can walk down too. It was much further away in terms of time than I expected. Although not too far in terms of distance, the road to the house is VERY twisty, and since we were in a rental car, took it slowly, easily taking an hour or more to and from Monterey. That was a big chunk of the day. ”

“The cottage was super cute and quiet. We did lose power from 3AM- 12PM one day. Not hosts fault, but it would have been nice to have some flashlights available. Use of the Aquarium passes was a definite perk. Grateful. Maybe some placemats for the glass dining table. A little nervous we might break it. Overall, a great place to stay. We would return.
