“Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all……

“I contacted the property hosts before booking as I would be arriving late and they were very helpful and accommodating. I also received check in details over text so great to refer back to on arrival with a fried brain from a long drive. “We had a fantastic stay in the cottage, which was in a great location for the main harbour, a great local pub (6 doors down), various public parking (buy a permit from Torbay council website) and town centre. All rooms were perfectly clean and very well equipped. Great area out the back to sit in the sun and enjoy a drink. We will definitely return in the future.”

“Wonderful large lodge ideal for our family. Most relaxing time ever. The lodge had everything we needed, Beds were very comfortable with lovely soft linen and the site was remote and quiet but slightly out of season which suited us, can’t imagine getting too noisy though as good space and double glazed. “We had a wonderful time at East Soar farm. The kids enjoyed being surrounded by the animals and we did the splendid walk to Salcombe Beach and back. The apartment has just what you need in order to cook, sleep and shower and was very clean upon arrival. We felt very welcome and well taken care off.”
