“I have to say this was the most disgusting property I have stayed at in some time. Since there were no other rooms available to stay for over an hour away from Peach Fest, we were compelled to stay in this filthy, squalid, unkempt, falling apart property. Cigarette burns in the bedclothes. Molding separating from walls, broken safe, broken falling to pieces furniture, and no maid service after four nights made this property one of the worst I have ever stayed at. A true zero-star hotel.”

“Although not a fancy 5 star hotel, the Fern Ridge was a very pleasant surprise! We had expected the lower rate to mean a small room without much comfort, but found the friendliness of the staff to go above and beyond what one would receive at ANY rated hotel. Jackie introduced herself as the housekeeper and was very kind to note she would accommodate anything we needed, their restaurant served reasonably priced meals, and located only moments from the Pocono Speedway. “Everything you needed was there - we didn't get the linen package (thought $230 for a weekend was a bit much, but understand why), so we brought our own. There was plenty of games, pool table was decent to enjoy (some are very cheap) layout was great. Only complaint, not everyone was able to get a "hot" shower, but with every shower running, understandable that the hot water would run out. Called host and it is a new hot water, just need to space out shower times a bit. Plenty of bowls, pans,……
