Perfect location with stunning views

Family met together for a spectacular stay only steps from crystal clear water on an unimaginable pink sandy beach. The view is unmatched. The pool was breathtaking overlooking the turquoise waters. The location was private and five doors town from the popular restaurant and hang out, Tippy’s. The upstairs shower has a problem regulating the temp and due to a holiday, our house manager only checked on us the day before we left. However we managed using the other two showers. Other than that, everything was great! We were blessed to be able to share such an experience!

Beautiful House!

This is a beautiful house right on the ocean. We walked along the beach every morning, without seeing many people. The view from the house is breathtaking. The house has great bedrooms and bathrooms, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Our boys loved the foosball table upstairs. The location is great, within walking distance to Tippys, where we ate almost daily. This was one of our family's favorite vacations.

Paradise in the Bahamas

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and the home itself are absolutely beautiful. We're so glad that we got to experience the pristine waters and private beach. We explored the island and did a deep sea fishing day and tour day with Exotic Excursions..definetly recommended. We also went to The Saphire hole, and Preachers Cave, both cool experiences. The restaurants and food were amazing. Our only complaints about the home was that the deck is in dire need of repair and unsafe to walk on , from the top level, all the way down to the beach. Additionally, the upstairs shower does not regulate temperature. It's either scalding hot, or freezing cold. Lastly, we found tiny ants in the bathrooms downstairs and upstairs, as well as the kitchen. Overall, our family had a wonderful experience and we're so glad we were able to have the opportunity to stay at the Palisades House.

Perfect piece of paradise

House was perfectly located on insanely gorgeous beach with reef nearby. Went snorkeling, used the kayaks a ton, saw sharks (little lemons and a nurse - nothing to worry about, rays and dolphins right in front of the house. Walked to Tippy's every other day for lunch. Relaxed in the infinity pool at the end of each day with perfect view of the beach below. We only explored the island one day (Glass window, Queen's bath and Hatchet bay caves) because we didn't want to leave the property as it had everything we needed to unwind and enjoy the perfection that is Eleuthera. Sherman was awesome and only a phone call away for any help that was needed and the owners were immediately responsive to answer any questions we had.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: paid for the pool to be heated but it wasn't working for 6 days. we hired our own cleaning service to correct what we felt was the lack of quality cleaning

Relaxing spot, immaculate vibes

Everything was great. The house was as advertised, and fairly well stocked. The cleaning crew was still there when we arrived around checkin time, and was rather unpleasant to me when I asked whether we could come in. The caretaker, Mr. Culmer was there as well, and he said we could just leave our luggage in the garage while we waited for the cleaning crew to finish. We walked to Tippy’s to wait, because that’s what you do on Banks Rd! That was a little hiccup right at the start of the trip, but everything else was just as expected. Very nice house - I can recommend it to anyone.

Great view on a great beach but the house needs some work.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay. The pool and views are the highlight for sure. We feel the house is starting to show a lack of care and maintenance. All home owners in the Bahamas are always fighting to maintain their houses against the harsh elements but it seems that this house has been neglected. The deck is becoming unsafe in many areas. The kitchen is dirty and not well equipped. The bedding is cheap and worn.

THE MOST STUNNING VILLA IN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the most wonderful time in this stunning villa on Eleuthera island in the dreamy Bahamas! We travel a lot and always opt for private rentals where we can, and this is one of our favourite homes and locations ever! The moment we walked in, it had the wow factor! The living room was very spacious and so comfy and we spent our evenings relaxing here and watching movies on the huge tv! The kitchen had everything we needed, and we had every breakfast & lunch in during our 10 night stay. There are two supermarkets in town & a good liquor store which we stocked up at. The master bedroom is beautiful with a large bathroom. Upstairs is also a great additional space with its own lounge area, which shows off views of the beach.Being right on the beach was just dreamy, and we pretty much had it to ourselves apart from a few people who we chatted to. There are loads of sun beds and water sports equipment to use at the villa. It was also great to have the pool there too which you can relax around.Tippys was a short walk away and a great place to grab a bite to eat. We also had a car and went to a couple of places in the town as well. Pam was incredibly helpful through the booking process and we wouldn’t hesitate to book via Eleuthera Vacation Rentals in the future. We tend to go to different places but this is one location and home that we will definitely be returning to again in the future. Amazing View, Beach and Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great 10 days in Eleuthera. Palasaides home is in a great location to explore both ends of the beautiful island. The beach in front of the home is stunning, the water is extremely clear with snorkeling only steps away, and lots of rock formations within walking distance to explore. We loved that we could walk to Tippys in only 5 minutes - and we took advantage of that regularly - or drive to other amazing restaurants in less than 20 min. The house was spacious and the view from both house, deck and pool can't be beat. The only downsides are that the stairs leading down to the beach are not in the best condition. If you have mobility issues or young children, the stairs are dangerous. My husband and I were with our family of 3 children (ages 6, 9, 11) and they were fine, but I was happy my 1 and 3 y.o. nephews didn't stay with us - it would have been too stressful worrying about them or carrying them up and down. One step broke while my 6 y.o. was walking on it - had it been an adult, we may have fallen through instead of it "gently" cracking in half. The pool heater wasn't working while we were there so we only used it twice since temps were in the 70s, but if you're visiting in warmer months, it's perfectly located, sized and refreshing after a busy day of exploring or beach time. This is a gorgeous area of the island and we would stay in this area again. If the stairs and deck are repaired, we would definitely stay in this home again - other houses nearby seemed to have more recently built or repaired steps/decks. These seems to be very weathered and in need of replacement in some areas. Also to note, the beds are very firm! The caretaker was very helpful and communication with him, the owners and rental co. was great.

Great Location... our very own beach.

Wonderful View!

The beach is also one of the best on the island. We saw a sting ray in the ocean as we were swimming in the pool. The heated pool is a fantastic addition to the house and was used almost every day. Make sure to communicate with Sherman 2 days before arriving to make sure place is cleaned before arrival.

Great gas grill on the deck. Everything you need for an amazing vacation.Pam was exceptional with her communication, support, and just being absolutely amazing. Beautiful Bahama beach stay

We had a bit of a rocky journey getting there. Unrelated to our stay purely weather related. That said once we arrived, everything was perfect. It was a beautiful beach house right on the ocean. The weather was perfect. We loved Eleuthera and the host was wonderful. They provided a lengthy list of things to do….helping us arrange activities for the kids, as well as helping with rentals and things to do throughout our stay. Thank you so much!

Wonderful Stay

Reviewer Comments: Although there were some glitches (pool could not be heated, dishwasher did not work, ice maker in the fridge did not work, igniter for the grill did not work), the place was clean and had all the amenities. The location is unbeatable, and the owner and property caretaker (Sherman) were very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. (We were refunded for the pool heating expenses without any issue at all.) Highly recommend this place. The billiard room was a hit with all of us - especially our five grandchildren.

Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really don't know where to start. This place is magical, the house, the water, just the whole experience. The house is beautiful, just a short walk to a local restaurant/bar, Tippy's. You walk down the stairs to a beautiful beach, that you will probably have all to yourself. When you get tired of the beach, you head up to the pool with the most spectacular views. I will give you one bit of advice, don't get in a hurry about anything, you are on Island time. This place is so laid back and relaxing, you just have to go with the flow. The boats bring supplies on Tue and Thur, so don't be surprised if they are out of something on Monday. If you're looking for a beautiful house in a relaxing atmosphere, then you can't go wrong with the Palisades.

It easily accommodated the entire group of 8.The views from the pool are amazing. Hard to believe the views could be any better anywhere else on the island. This home is truly a gem and is well equipped with everything you possibly need. Sherman, the property manager was Johnny on the spot with any questions and all of our needs. He arrived with flowers, champagne and home baked cookies! He even offered to take one of our couples to the airport when a taxi wasn't available. Eleuthera Vacation Rentals and the homeowners are quick to respond to any questions you may have. I highly recommend this home, the location is central to many of the finest restaurants on the island and you can even walk to Tippy's! We'll be back!

Island Paradise

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wowza, this is a beautiful property along with the best beach to spend some time in a total paradise! This was our 1st visit to Eleuthera and we could not have found a more stunning home. The property exceeded all of our expectations. Upon arrival it was a nice surprise to find champagne, fresh flowers and home grown tomatoes (grown by Sherman the property manager). This home has the most breathtaking views from the 2 master bedrooms and the entire living space. The decks and heated infinity pool were awe-inspiring to spend some relaxing days and evenings at. We were a family of 4 adults and 4 children, and we had more space than we needed to be comfortable for 8 days of fun in the sun. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook with. The home was spotless! We had a rental car and found this property to be centrally located for grocery shopping, quaint restaurants and fun little beach bars. The beach has the softest pink sand we have ever seen and walked on with the most incredible clear blue water. We have visited many of the Caribbean islands and this is our new favorite. We are already planning for our next visit in this same property next winter. We have already recommended this vacay and property to all our friends and family. Thank You Don, for sharing your astonishing home with us. Don was amazing to work with in planning our visit to the island. Sherman, the property caretaker, took great care of us, checking in daily to make sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything. On our last day, Sherman brought us homemade cookies and wanted to say goodbye to us and the kids. We had an extraordinary family trip with lots of new priceless memories.

The Perfect Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at the Palisades house. The view from the house was breathtaking and the pink sand beach was unbeatable. The water was the most amazing color. We loved kayaking, snorkeling and jumping waves. The pool is beautiful. The deck will need replaced at some point but I can understand why they haven’t done it yet. There is so much deck space! We had a few issues while we were there but Sherman took care of them right away. He even brought us cookies that his wife made. We were a little disappointed that the dishwasher was broken but hopefully they will have that fixed soon. We loved walking the beach in the morning and going to Tippys for dinner. This place has some wear and tear but we still loved it. The kids loved playing pool and foosball. Overall we had the best vacation and the view and location trumped everything else!
