“Beautiful house set within extensive gardens amidst the tranquil Charentes countryside. The House is comfortable, well equipped and full of character. The large garden is private and fully enclosed, with lots of quiet corners to sit and read or just admire the view. The fenced off pool area is excellent - and features ample seats. The Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. All in all this is a wonderful place for a holiday with friends or family in a beautiful corner of south west France.”

“Amazing property with everything a large group could possibly need. We were a group of three families, with children aged 5-11 and had a wonderful time here. The bedrooms and bathroom configuration was spot on, and the kitchen was well extremely equipped. Pool and outside space also great for all of us. A couple of small issues we experienced on arrival were quickly rectified. We would definitely return. ”

“Excellent location, really gorgeous pool and spaces outside were perfect for us, we had four adults and five children between us and the youngest was kept safe as there is no access to the pool or the road if you keep the door and gates locked, which was really helpful. Our trips to Aubeterre were lovely and just a short drive away, sadly the restaurant in Montboyer was closed but we enjoyed making pizza outside and cooking lots of meat and salads. “We were a party of 8 (4 adults and 4 teenagers). We've just finished the most relaxing week in La Borie. The house gave us lots of space, especially the outside space. We loved the house so much that we didn't really venture out except for the supermarket and one day trip.Everything provided, kitchen well equipped, plancha grill for outdoor dining in the barn, loads of fridge and freezer space.Really lovely hosts in Helen and John.
