“Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! It was all just so sweet—even if, as I did, you just want to hang out and read as you listen to the rain all day. Grand Marais is only eighteen minutes……

“Family winter getaway. Spectacular views and great location on the upper part of the north shore. Loft is really great with bunk beds having limited room and access to the top bunk. “We opened the door to the most incredible view & very welcoming home. The host had a nice basket of area treats for our stay. “We had an excellent stay here. The cabin is well designed, great space for a large group, with lots of sleeping options and nice views of the woods. Everything was clean and well stocked, lots of towels for the sauna, and quality cookware in the kitchen. The dining table was huge and great for board games. We got a really nice rate that was super reasonable for our visit too. I’d definitely book these again in the winter to enjoy the sauna to its fullest.”
