I wish it had a full length mirror - it was hard for all of us to get ready for the wedding with only a small bathroom mirror. “This is the cutest cleanest cottage ever! Every detail has been lovingly and wisely planned to make for a lovely and cozy experience of lake living. The newly remodeled cottage has gorgeous knotty-pine paneling and comfortable chairs placed for watching the wildlife and birds that frequent the lake. The 3-bedroom house overlooks a good-size lake, and it has loads of lake-side windows. The house is large with 2 spacious levels. This permits families to the opportunity for separate activities. While it's located in the country, it's not far from shopping and restaurants.”

“This was a great home base for my family as we visited the Grand Rapids area to see family and do some sight seeing. We felt right at home in this house and it was exactly as listed and pictured. Brandon was very responsive and friendly in all communications. The house has been beautifully updated and had all of the amenities we could need! Lots of towels (beach and bath), cooking utensils, toiletries, etc. The scenery could not be more lovely either! We enjoyed taking the kayaks out, swinging……

“We had an absolutely wonderful time staying on this beautiful property. The host was quick to answer my silly questions, and the house is just so quaint and homie. The only downside was the tv was in the upper bedroom area and we enjoyed playing games around the table but wanted to watch the basketball games as well! We’d also recommend putting a pathway to walk down to the house the grass was so mushy we were terrified of ruining your grass! Otherwise we plan to stay again during the warmer……

“I picked this spot because I wanted to take my son to visit Grand Valley State, and I also wanted something "fun" for my younger daughter. The Grand Castle was a hoot! And the unit was spotless, huge, and perfect for the three of us!”

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. The tv setup in the loft bedroom was not working as it was not even attached to satellite system (making it hard for me to sleep as I need the white noise to do so); mentioned to management and she said she would try to reach maintenance (unable to as it was the weekend). Also tried to use coffee pot to make hot water for tea and it was not working (reported to management as checking out; on there 2 nights). Other than that, it was a very nice room!!”
