It was within walking distance to many restaurants and breweries and the hotel also has a shuttle. Our room was clean, the staff was nice. It was not a quiet room — there was road construction nearby which can’t be helped, but I could also hear an alarm in a nearby room.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn downtown was awesome. A treat to us was the shuttle to our restaurant. Jason gave a tour on our way there and back. That was an added bonus.

Overall, the hotel sits in a prime location, and the staff were pleasant. The room was in good condition. However, our sleep suffered because the air conditioning limited comfort. We prefer a cooler space, so the 68-degree minimum was a drawback. Furthermore, the unit failed to activate all night, keeping the room around 72–74 degrees and leading to a poor night’s rest.
