First time in Herdwick Lodge after visiting Meadows End four times now.

First time in Herdwick Lodge after visiting Meadows End four times now. The lodge was amazing, spotlessly clean with all the essentials needed. Very spacious with 2 double bedrooms both ensuite and a well equipped kitchen. Log burner warms up the place nicely on the chilly evenings. Hot tub in a very private position and can be accessed easily from one of the bedrooms or main door, nice to sit in and stare at the stars. Of course you have Cartmel village within easy walking distance which we know and love so much now. Plenty choice of pubs and places to eat for a nice a lunch to evening meals and a takeaway sticky toffee pudding!! Coffee and Stays is a lovely place for a breakfast and I would highly recommend it. Cartmel and Meadows End is now our go to place and already pricing up for next year 😊

We could not fault Herdwick Lodge. Perfect in every way from booking, staying to leaving :). We would definitely recommend. We even had a complimentary sticky toffee pudding.
