“Excellent hotel, service is great, food in pub is spot on. One word of warning, and this is an expedia issue is that the pin location that they have set for this hotel is 1.8 miles off, meaning if you are there for an event you are 35-40 minutes walk away from where you thought you was. Very misleading. Not the hotels fault but there is nowhere else to put this. Hotel was spot on, thank you”

“Good sized room and the bed was huge. The rooms are above the bar area which was fine as its wasn't too noisy. The car parking is easy as there is loads of space. I used this location as it was a short drive to the Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. the kitchens close about 8:30 ish so if you are late back for food I can recommend the Indian about 100mtrs down the road. All in all a nice location for a few days away”

“We were welcomed by Caitlin. Such a lovely lady who was genuinely interested in making sure everything was perfect. So we felt at ease straight away. Lovely large, clean room with a huge bed. Lots of attention to detail. Nice clean bathroom. All staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Food choices very good too. ”

“We stayed for a night for my birthday and my father in laws birthday and we spent the afternoon in front of the fire which was so cosy and relaxing. We then had dinner and had the famous ribs…we were all blown away by the quantity and quality of meat. The staff were incredibly friendly! The room we stayed in was huge and comfortable. Definitely will be returning! A fabulous stay. ”

“The Lea gate Inn was an extremely comfortable stay, beds superb. Food fabulous , breakfasts too. Great location for getting to East Kirby, just over 10mins. Staff all really friendly Dog friendly. ”

“Beds comfortable plenty of space and great location. Lovely Thai restaurant locally.Don’t forget to bring a cork screw or as we did ask a lovely neighbour. Hopefully heating is working for you. Do your homework before visiting as no welcome pack in the house that we could see”
