Paradise in France

Stunning property full of character. Dominique was so friendly and helpful. Close to amenities, restaurants and transport. Would definitely recommend a stay there.

A beautiful villa, close to the town but a quiet location, facing west over hills with besutiful views. The house was very beautiful, with lots of different outside aeas to sit and enjoy the views. A very lovely stay.

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit einer schönen Atmosphäre. Der Empfang war super herzlich und ein köstlicher hausgemachter herzhafter Kuchen und eine Flasche Rosé warteten auf uns! Man merkte, dass die Besitzerin alles getan hatte, um unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Villa ist fantastisch: viel Platz, viel Platz zum Rückzug, ansprechend eingerichtete Zimmer, ein wunderschöner Garten mit mehreren Terrassen, eine davon beheizt! Schwimmbad (toll im zeitigen Frühjahr) und eine tolle Aussicht über die Hügel. Auch praktische Dinge wie Küchenmöbel sind selbst für eine große Gruppe sehr vollständig. Das Zentrum des gemütlichen Grasse ist zu Fuß in etwa 15 Minuten zu erreichen, und doch ist es, als ob man außerhalb der Stadt wäre: wunderbar ruhig und frei. Wir fanden das Haus in Wirklichkeit noch schöner als auf den Fotos.

Villan är en fantastisk plats att koppla av på, Den har alla nödvändigheter du behöver, och planlösningen är mycket praktisk för större grupper, Vi njöt av den tysta omgivningen och bekvämligheten av att bara vara en kort promenad från stan, Sovrummen var bekväma, och att ha flera badrum var en fördel för vår grupp, Den enda nackdelen var att vi tyckte att incheckningstiden var lite restriktiv, men överlag var vår vistelse trevlig och problemfri, Rent och väl underhållet - definitivt värt att överväga om du letar efter en lugn tillflyktsort

Das Haus war sehr schön und der Ausblick war genial.

Das Haus war sehr schön aber mit sehr vielen engen Stufen für ältere Leute nicht geeignet. Die zufahrtsstraße zum Haus ist ebenfalls nur für sehr geübte Autofahrer und kleine Auto gut zum Befahren. Aber die Ausstattung vom Haus und der Pool waren sehr schön und sehr gepflegt. Wir wurden auch sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub in diesem Haus verbracht. LG. Het huis, de tuin, het zwembad en het uitzicht zijn geweldig, zeker een aanrader. Het gezelschap en de auto mogen wel niet te groot zijn want de weg naar het huis is zeer stijl en zeer smal en de plafonds van de kamers (zeker de badkamers) zijn erg laag (lager dan 1.80m) waardoor meerdere van ons gezelschap zich gebukt hebben moeten douchen.

A beautiful and very characterful house

We loved this beautiful, spacious, clean and well-furnished house with wonderful views of the countryside around Grasse. The arrangement of the rooms and the numerous terraces provided great flexibility and met the needs of our group of cousins, mostly in senior years, who assembled from different parts of the world. The owner, Dominique, was brilliant - charming, helpful, very responsive and obviously concerned that we should enjoy her lovely historic house and its interesting gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the changing views depending upon the time of day and the walk into Grasse was exhilarating - there are two routes, one of which involves an uphill (but manageable) walk and another which is on the flat. One or two points that potential renters should take into consideration: first, the mozzies - Dominique has done her best to erect screens but they still seem to get through - and secondly, the steep, bendy and narrow drive down to the house from the road. This is shared with other houses and having a small car certainly makes it more manageable.
