“The main house was well kept, but the additions are where this property really shines. My fiancee and I stayed in the back bedroom with 2 friends in the loft space. There is an AC unit there and in the middle area like the ones that we found to be popular in Japan. It works incredibly well, especially since the renovations included excellent insulation. “We vacationed to St. Louis and wanted to stay outside of the city so we could enjoy our down time in nature. This place is an older home tucked away on the edge of a state park. It was a 30 minute drive from everything we wanted to do (from downtown St. Louis activities, to Eureka, to Meramec River adventures) which was perfect! Because it is an older home, expect creaky stairs and smaller spaces. All the furniture was SO COMFORTABLE! The beds, sofa, and chairs were perfect for relaxing. ……
