"We were an extended family of 6 adults and 4 children (all under 10). The house is spacious, in a beautiful quiet location. It has 3 large community spaces where the children could play and the adults could socialize. It is about a 10 minute walk from the trailhead for some beautiful hikes through the woods; at the same time it is only 15 minutes from a number of inviting beaches. Guests should be aware that there are 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are ensuite. That means that 2 bedrooms require descending either one or two flights of stairs to get access to the one bathroom not within a bedroom. That worked for us but might not for every group. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return."

"We loved the place and the check-in was pretty smooth. We had trouble opening the lockbox but as soon as I called I got it open and I think they were already on their way over. The kitchen is well-equipped and it was very comfortable for the 4 of us and the 2 dogs. Loved that we could hike from the place and walk to the beach (although crossing PCH felt scary!). "
