"Amazing stay, the photos don't come close to doing justice to the place. The views are unparalleled and as ocean front as it gets. The property was very clean, comfortable with all the amenties provided. The bathrooms could have used an exhaust - as it got musty. Amy was very responsive and accommodating. "

"The location is first-rate. The house is high atop a cliff looking down on the Pacific as it rolls in. It's also at the end of a dead end street, so no traffic noise (unless you count the garbage truck which comes at 5 am on Fridays).I'm not so crazy about the check-in and check-out webpage the owner uses. You can't access any check-in information until the day of your arrival. Which is a problem because there's no cell service at the location. So when we arrived, we couldn't access the internet to obtain the webpage to get the code to open the door, nor could we call the listed number because, again, no cell service. We had to go to a local sandwich shop to piggyback on their wifi to get the information. Not a deal-breaker, but pretty inconvenient. The check-in info doesn't contain much and there are no written instructions in the house. For example, we weren't able to use the TV because we couldn't figure out how to access the cable (it may be because the batteries were dead in the remote). So no live TV whatsoever.We were not aware that gardeners came to the property during the week, so I happened to look up and see a guy walking across the patio while we had the back door open for the dogs. Fortunately, no one got bitten.Wifi in the house does not extend upstairs.Check-out was easier, but again, if I can't access it until the day I leave, then I can't do anything ahead of time to prepare. A written set of instructions would be ideal."

"My family and I (and 2 dogs) thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this absolutely lovely home. It is extremely close to the beach where he had a great afternoon. The Home had plenty of space for all 5 of us and the outdoor space was perfect. "

"Beautiful modern home. A short walk across the street and you have beautiful cliff views of the ocean and a walking path. Very comfortable accommodations, well stocked kitchen/bathrooms, very clean, and the host was very responsive. Easy check in and check out. Very close to San Francisco for easy day trips into city, but it was nice to stay in a quiet safer neighborhood. Would stay here again if in the area! The 3 bedrooms worked great for our family trip of 6 people. "

"Our trip wasn't great - though some of the issues we experienced were beyond the property owner's control.When we arrived, there was no power - a city issue with a transformer had to be repaired, which took a couple of hours. This wasn't too bad - the larger inconvenience was that the repair trucks blocked the road to the house, so we had to walk a bit to get there.The house also had ants all over the kitchen - which was pretty gross. The maintenance team came out and cleaned and sprayed, but that didn't do much.You absolutely cannot beat the views this house offers - the writing nook is really nice, and the deck has great sight lines to the beach and water.But really, my biggest complaint is that the house just felt....dirty. There were spiderwebs all over the inside and outside. The floor hadn't been swept, so there was sand in a lot of the rooms. The silverware hadn't been washed, like one of the knives still had the label on it and (I think?) peanut butter. A lot of the dishes and glasses were not the cleanest looking.There was no extra toilet paper (we bought some and left it for the next person). The property owner provided two towels and one wash cloth per couple. Just little things like that really detracted from the experience.The owners did provide a refund for one night due to the inconvenience of everything, which was definitely appreciated. I would give the house two stars based on the views and location, but I don't think I would ever go back."

"Loved the home, it’s space and the setting. Great kitchen supplies, family meeting rooms, bedroom sizes. We would come back to this home for our next visit. As noted from other reviews, cobwebs indoors and spiderwebs outdoors."

"We loved our short stay at this property. It is steps away from Montara state beach. The beach is not very safe to swim in but it is beautiful and a nice place to relax. The highlight in our opinion are numerous hiking trails within 5-10 min driving distance with amazing views of the ocean. There are also plenty of great restaurant options a short drive from the property. The house was very clean, welcoming, and comfortable. It was the perfect place return to after spending our time hiking and enjoying the beach and natural beauty of the area."
