We had a great time staying at this hotel and will definitely stay here again! We were able to travel into San Francisco without any issues and wasn't too far way. The area is very quiet and the beach is beautiful. For being near the beach, you can't ask for anything else!

Had a rough stay at the Inn at Rockaway. Thin walls made it hard to sleep with noise from neighboring rooms, water pressure was a trickle, and the mattress was super uncomfortable. No screens on windows, and the parking lot was full so I ended up parking on the street. Broken chair in the room didn't help. Ocean view was the highlight, but wasn't enough to make up for it. Price was okay, but wouldn't recommend unless you're on a super tight budget.

Staff was awesome! Rates were affordable for my 2 week stay. 2 minute walk from my room to the ocean. Hotel was in need of general maintenance, but pretty well. One of my major concerns was lack of strong Wi-Fi in the room, which rendered my phone and laptop very limited in function. Some of the patrons had multiple dogs in their rooms, so frequently there was loud noise and barking at all hours. Others were smoking marijuana in the parking lot, which became a nightly occurrence. Obviously, those are not things necessarily in the control of the hotel staff or management, but I feel enforcement of rules was lacking. I would give this hotel another try if rates are well in the future.

There is no lobby or any other amenity. One staff was very nice the other seemed to hate his job. The air conditioner was as not efficient and it was unseasonably warm out. The bathroom was clean but the room floors were dirty. Any effort was make to upgrade the rooms but it was just ok. No screens on the windows.

Perfect view of the ocean from our window! There was easy access to beaches and local restaurants, and only a short drive to a major grocery store. The hotel staff was very kind.

We booked this last minute when we were in Pacifica. It was the last available room, but I didn't like that the windows were open with no screen or gate. We have 3 kids and it made me uneasy. The next thing was the TV -- the programs wouldn't load and even after spending several minutes trying to create a Samsung account, it didn't work and we ended up using our own device for a quick show. For $180 for one night, the TV should have worked properly.

The location is nicely centralized to beach, restaurants and a few shops. The hotel is dated and the room had a a few updates, such as the bathroom. The bed was very lumpy, the windows have no screens, and the wood floor was totally scratched. The TV had basic cable and no streaming apps. There was a microwave and fridge, and a Keurig coffee maker. The walls and ceiling are thin so movement above and around the room can be easily heard. It’s ok for a short visit but make sure to bring your ear plugs.

When you’re staying a block from the ocean, there shouldn’t be too much to complain about, especially when you’re given a large corner queen room facing the ocean. There are restaurants and shops in the area and the coastline and beach are really great. One thing I wish is that management/owner would take room maintenance more seriously. We stayed two days and the first day I turned on the shower with the wonky handle that was loosely attached and the shower head at the hose connection started leaking…actually squirting water past the curtain so I had to awkwardly adjust it so it wouldn’t squirt out but could not stop the leak. Then my hot water ran out after about five minutes. Luckily I just washed off. Later when my wife arrived, there was no hot water. And the next day there was no hot water either so there was no shower for either of us. This is not what I expected from a three star hotel. Even the baseboards in the room looked like they could have used a touchup, and in general, a lack of attention to appearance was evident. The chair for the desk after adjusting it higher, slowly let you down as you sat there. I talked to the nice young lady who checked us in and out and told her about these things. She was nice enough, but could only muster that she was really sorry. Twice. I guess I was expecting a discount for not being able to take a hot shower fully for two days but nothing was offered. Kinda disappointed as I used to live in Pacifica for 7 yrs. Way back when.
