Sue & Michelle were both amazing, the couple housekeepers we saw were also amazing too! Breakfast was offered to be served daily to our room or to be served at the dining room, we chose our room.
Surrounding areas were amazing the weather was great, only small thing was that if you’re there mid day when the temperatures get high there is no AC so it could get a bit warm, but if you just open up a window or balcony like we did and it cooled down instantly. The garden was amazing and the quails, birds, squirrels and bunnies were out and about eating each morning. At night if you get cold you can turn on the gas fireplace that is in your room or turn on the heater. The entire staff was friendly and really nice and accommodating. 5/5 would stay here again for sure my girlfriend and I loved it.

Really special location! Beautiful grounds. Delicious Chardonnay on arrival (selection of beer/wine). Most comfy bed! Follow the stunning trail to beach access. Very private and quiet property. Excellent coffee/tea/espresso bar. Peaceful and relaxing stay. We will be back!

The property and surrounding area was absolutely impeccable, this alone is worth the trip. Mary and all the staff members were absolutely phenomenal and made the Inn feel inviting.

I stayed at Seal Cove Inn with two old friends for a few nights, and we were in the Seal Cove Master Suite. We absolutely loved it! The location is perfect if you want something quiet, beautiful, and within a reasonable driving distance to many of the area's most compelling activities/vistas. We'd stayed in SF the night before and it was an easy drive down. We then took a day trip to the Monterey Bay area, Carmel, and Big Sur - after which we were ecstatic to collapse into our very comfortable beds at the inn.
The adjacent Fitzgerald Marine Reserve and park are stunning; well worth multiple daily strolls. One morning I had the beach to myself except for a couple of seals bobbing in the water by the shore.
The amenities at the hotel are excellent: Even the most discerning member of our group was pleased as punch. Little things like the daily breakfast (delivered to our doorstep - we had a private entrance), cookies, and wine were much appreciated. The staff was warm and welcoming. My only complaint is that the inn's excellent coffee made me aware of what I've been missing out on at home!
I look forward to returning next time I'm in the area. It was a lovely and relaxing experience!

An absolutely wonderful stay! This is my second time staying here. It’s so cozy and on such a beautiful property. The staff is so kind and welcoming. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with a personal patio looking into a gorgeous garden and a fireplace. This is one of my favorite places to stay!

The staff was amazing. The location was perfect. Few hotels live up to their hype..This Inn did not disappoint. Walking distance to the beach / tide pools. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for us.

The Seal Cove Inn EXCEEDED my expectations, which were already very high from the other reviews. The service is amazing! A lovely breakfast is included, as well as an evening wine reception. The Inn is gorgeous, like a Pottery Barn catalog! The grounds are charming, with plenty of cute seating areas. And just steps away are amazing trails along the cliff where you can be in forest and yet along the ocean! I didn’t realize we were so close to tide pools! We’ll definitely be back! This place has many repeat guests.

Place is very quiet and so peaceful. You have access to many trails right outside your door. Loved breakfast in your room and their all day cappucino,coffee and espresso machine downstairs. Complimentary wine and beer nightly as well.
Michelle & Laurie were fantastic and so helpful for anything you may need. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great getaway!

Great venue & location at heart of Moss Beach!
Location is wonderfully situated in the middle of all things Moss Beach and Half Moon Bay has to offer. There is a short hiking area located just minutes walk nearby for folks that don’t prefer to take a longer journey or just want an easy flat stroll with views of the ocean. Venus and staff are very warm, courteous, and professional. Loved the professional coffee machine and in-room breakfast option which arrived right on time and tasted very good. Warm cookies in the evening is a cute touch after we got back from sightseeing and scrolling. Recommended to bring hiking boots only because there’s a lot of walking and trails nearby.
