“I'm fond of this Hotel, I've stayed here multiple times. They have a nice pool area which is enjoyed by most. The upper floors on the sea side have a great view too. The ground floor view is obstructed by the local flora. If you are athematic I recommend taking your inhaler with you to the pool; something there affected my breathing, but only me. Others are unaffected. The staff are wonderful. We had a medical emergency and the front desk clerk had the nearest hospital address's written out for……

“We have stayed there several times over the years, and while the location is as beautiful as ever, the building itself was in bad shape. The lobby was littered with empty pizza boxes and glasses, the room itself was dirty, mildew growing on the walls and ceiling of the bathroom, and honestly it smelled like someone had been smoking weed in the room. Not the normal musty funk of the old lodge, weed. We cut our trip two days short and left early. And while the girls at the front desk were as nice……

“Being from Texas I was pretty skeptical about the wall vents as the A/C for the room, but I was wildly mistaken. We were very comfortable in the room with the best beds we’ve slept on the whole trip. We loved the vibe and peacefulness of the property ,and if we ever come back up this way I definitely know where we will be staying!”

“Pros: Weekend staff was very helpful and the heated pool was great. Short easy walk to the beach as well as a quick drive to downtown activities. I enjoyed the option to stream on our own account as that's usually a pain in hotels. Cons: We paid the full resort fee of $20 but there was no spa as advertised, the putting green was disappointing at best, the fitness room was out of service, and there was no breakfast or housekeeping offered. All things a resort fee would be expected to cover. When……

“The property is dated but clean. Beds were very small “queen size” beds are actually much smaller than a queen. Beds were very old and uncomfortable. But Customer service and staff were great.”

“The camp provides barbecues and gas cylinders. The rooms, which are spacious, are equipped with stoves and decorated in a warm style.”

“Not very clean. Base boards stained in many parts of the room with some kind of liquid. Urine smell intermittently. Floor was coming unglued. Safety chain missing from door so we used a chair. Dead bugs behind table between beds, and a few other bonus bugs around the room. Mattress comforter cover was dirty. Mattresses felt very old... We could hear folks next door but they were nice and we got in late so it was the least of our worries. Just didn’t feel clean and safe. I expect more for two……

“Photos makes you think you are getting cabins - but if says suites it a room in hotel. We were disappointed at check in because of this. Our room was clean for the most part. Older hotel. Thin walls, could hear neighbors at 5am moving around & talking. We got locked out of our room (the locking system wasn't recognizing our room number) front desk helped. I did try to call after hours number 2 times that was listed but no one answered. Great location! Staff was nice. ”
