"Thistle Ridge is an exceptional property. The "cabin" is an amazing work of architecture situated an 12 acres including river front, beautifully furnished and completely stocked with first rate kitchenware, spices etc. Easily among the best vacation rentals we have experienced over many years. And Kimberly was a wonderful hostess, super responsive and helpful, and kind."

"We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view of the river across the street. The cabin was nice and clean. It is definitely located in the woods. Not a whole lot of traffic. Nice and quiet. We got to experience cool, wet weather and sunny warm weather.When we got there, we had to make our own beds. We thought that was odd because other cabins we have stayed at, the beds were already made. Also, the first 4 days, the fireplace would not light. Steve did have someone come out and fix it when we notified him.Although this cabin is located in the woods, it is close to a lot of attractions around the Boone area. Todd is definitely a quiet little community with friendly people. You can enjoy music at Todd Mercantile on Friday nights."

"Would have liked to have talked to someone at some at some point. I always ask about places to see, points of interest, local hikes, etc. Also, an ice machine in the office would be a great addition. We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and relaxing."

"This stunning cabin was everything we were looking for. Remote enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Yet close enough to civilization. SO MUCH to explore although there is no reason to leave the property. It has everything. I am so happy we chose Lansing. We'll be sure to be back! Hal and Margie, the hosts with the most! Two thumbs up "

"We had a wonderful time. The inside was absolutely beautiful. We were not lacking for anything. The host and hostesses were very nice and we really did enjoy our stay and slept like babies. The only thing I have a suggestion about is that when you first pull up it does not have any curb appeal which may turn people off. You wouldn't know that it was a bed and breakfast from the outside"
