Top Great Britain Hotel Reviews

Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge
10/10 Excellent
"It was close to most of the highlights of London"

a&o Manchester City Centre
8/10 Good
"The Hotel was excellently placed, near to where I needed to be later in the evening Very friendly greetings at the reception. My booking was handled quickly and efficiently. My room was clean and tidy, comfortable bed, good bathroom, TV and charging points. My own personal frustration was with the fact that the room had no tea/coffee making facilities. This seems to be going from a lot of hotels. That is a pity, it makes the room more homely and comforting to me. Apart from that, I had a very enjoyable overnight stay. Thank you."

Clayton Hotel, Manchester Airport
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is great, only a few minutes from the airport. They have an extra early breakfast option if you're off earlier than when they serve breakfast, which is awesome. The room was clean, bed nice and comfy. I'd stay here again, if they do something about their reception staff. Calling to let them know you're waiting for the airport shuttle was fine. After a 25 minute wait, I called again to ask what happened to the shuttle. The female on the other end couldn't understand a simple question "I'm at bus stop c, outside T3, where's the shuttle bus?" "Let me put my colleague on" she said. Another female says "hello, what's the problem?" I repeated my question to which she replied "are you sure you're outside T3?" Then there were a few more back and forth how did you get to the airport, you're not at the airport then, you're at the bus station, you're at the train station.... She even asked me to ask someone next to me where I was! In the end I actually said to her "do you think I'm blind? I'm looking at this big building that had a big T3 on it, I turn around, look up and I'm right under a sign that says bus stop C." Which she then replies "the shuttle bus is on the way" and hung up. The bus turned up 10 minutes later. With that said, her English was perfect, I'm an American lass so shouldn't be that hard for her to understand. Btw, the shuttle bus driver was absolutely brilliant! All in all, I'd probably stay there again 🙂"

The Tower Hotel, by Thistle
8/10 Good
"Beautiful hotel. Check in was lengthy. A new employee had difficulty. One of our rooms was supposed to have two beds and had one. They said they would switch it. Come back in a hour. Wasn’t ready. Come back in an hour. Wasn’t ready. After a long flight this was frustrating. When the trains to Amsterdam were cancelled due to a fire/power outage we decided to extend our stay at Thistle. We had to change rooms. We experienced the same issue - one room did not have two beds. Had to wait a few hours. The room I was in inyeas lovely. The second room was very small and claustrophobic. About 6 inches to get out of the bed. The location of the hotel is awesome with many things to do around it. We enjoyed the food trucks. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious. The self serve snack and drink area was nice. I think our issue was with untrained staff, constant changing of staff and having to explain our issue over and over (when waiting for correct rooms) someone mention the “scheduler” was sick and off that day???? Back up?? Everyone was friendly if not efficient."

Zedwell Piccadilly Circus
8/10 Good
"The location of this hotel is great for those who want to step outside and be in the heart of Piccadilly Square. Easy walking distance to restaurants and other venues. Leicester Square is a 2 min walk and the tube station is across the road. Clean and friendly staff in the lobby to help with self check-in and out ( everything is done online) The rooms are small but clean- minimalism is how we would describe them ( no side table and window was a bit different). If you are there for a night or two just to lay hat and sleep it’s great. We were out both days, all day so just needed a bed to sleep in. So glad for the clean, air conditioned room and hotel especially in the heatwave. It had a sold out occupancy while we were there so book ahead as it’s quite popular."
