The Space:
Enjoy this spacious traditional log cabin with modern touches throughout. Overlooking the Great Cacapon River, you’ll enjoy modern decor, a cozy double sided fireplace keeping you warm while preparing your favorite meal or relaxing in the living room. The open floor plan is perfect for families, friends and small groups to gather. Clean up after a long day of hiking in the 72 gallon bathtub or newly added steam shower. Plenty of seating for a fun family game night or head outside to roast s’mores by firepit with the river flowing below. While outside you’ll find a horseshoe pit for a friendly competition, two swings for taking in the views, kayaks and canoes for exploring the river or if you’re into exploring/bird watching, there’s a telescope on the deck. A little something for everyone at this riverside retreat!

--Bedroom 1 - Double Bed
--Bedroom 2 - King Bed
--Bedroom 3 - Queen Bed
--Bedroom 4 - Queen and Twin Day Bed
--Additional Sleeping Options: Twin Day Bed on Lower Level and a Pack and Play for little ones

Outside, you’ll also find:
- Spacious deck for gathering with friends
- Roast marshmallows in the fire pit
- Horseshoe Pit and Telescope
- Propane Grill for the grillmaster in your group
- Multiple hiking trails nearby
- EV Charging Station
- 3 Kayaks and 2 Canoes on-site
- Great Cacapon River right outside your door - bring your fishing gear!
Please note: You’re renting a cabin that is a mile from a local ranch that hosts the occasional cowboy style shooting tournament. Typically held March, April, and September - but they often practice on Saturday/Sunday during the third weekend of the month. You may hear gunshots from their place during the day. West Virginia is indeed wild and wonderful!
Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!
