"Remote and quiet location on a private Maine beach. Spectacular views from the living room! Very well equipped from top of the line appliances to the lobster tools! Kitchen very well equipped including various spices and condiments. Which had own lobster traps but law does not allows it.excellent communication with the host : example TV control batteries were dead , 15 min after my email delivered personally ! Truly great experience!"

"Fabulous. Perfect Bold Coast getaway. Peaceful, spacious, gorgeous property away from it all - but close enough to whatever you may want to see, do, eat or experience. Have been DownEast a few dozen times and will definitely come back to this property. Hosts lovely, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. In particular the trails, water views, sunrise on the front porch, writing nook, fireplace, antique décor and spectacular fall color made leaving very difficult. Well stocked pantry, immaculate and cozy...and not an ounce of fussiness :-)"

"Very convenient to shopping and gas stations, although there isn't a lot to choose from for shopping being a quaint, adorable town with friendly, helpful natives. Very typical of an older motel but super nice people running it. On 9.26.26 the front section was being repaired but this did not cause any noise or inconvenience. It's a little thing but an ironing board and iron would have been appreciated. I would definitely book there again. Super clean!!"

"Great space for larger group (we had 7). Large dining/living space was great for games and meals. Beautiful grounds with very nice covered deck for enjoying the outdoors. Multiple bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked out great. Would certainly stay again!"

"This property is an absolute dream. It is well-equipped for all needs, and is in a wonderful location. We were able to explore Acadia for a day, and then spent a day exploring the local wildlife refuge (Hollingsworth Trail is a MUST!) It was private, and my berner and 4 year old had plenty of space in the yard to explore. We saw turkeys, deer every morning, and even a porcupine one evening! Easily the most comfortable, beautiful place I’ve ever stayed when traveling. As a bonus, the hosts are super responsive, and have a very well-done and detailed guide book available in the home for your stay. Highly recommend."

"The location of this property is excellent with the best view on Pigeon Hill Bay! It's a close driving distance to numerous preserves with great hiking trails and Pigeon Hill Preserve is just a short walk up the road.The bay offers protected waters for kayaking and viewing an abundance of wildlife such as seals, bald eagles, herons and numerous other water birds. Watching the local lobster boats is also a treat. Karl, the host, keeps great communication and is happy to be contacted should there be any questions or concerns.The property is clean, appointed well and well maintaned, We've done vacation rentals for many years and this is our favorite!"

"We had a great stay at the Stagecoach. The cabin is fun to stay at. It is not far from Acadia National Park. There were a few restaurants nearby including Scovils Millside Dining which had good food at great prices. The cabin was very, very clean. The outside shower was very cool. There was a picnic table and fire pit. The host met us there and went over all of the amenities and how everything works. We loved it."
