"We had a lovely weekend in the Shepherd's hut. Very cosy. It is in a very rural position but only a short drive from Beccles and Bungay- we loved the foodie shops in Bungay and the on-site farm shop.
It was great to pop out in the morning to grab still warm eggs from the chicken coop, and the goats and piglets kept us thoroughly amused. A really relaxing stay."

"We travel to the area regularly to visit family and thought we would give the Cliff a go versus our usual chain hotel choice. Overall our stay was good with a few caveats.
The good bits:
Restaurant was nice with a pleasant atmosphere food good and reasonably priced, bar prices were also very competitive especially for a hotel, room was well appointed and spacious with a huge bed, cleanliness was good overall. The breakfast was very good and hot items are cooked to order.
The not so good:
Sound transmission between rooms is dreadful, some areas of the hotel are a bit tired, an alarm going off intermittently in the early hours was not welcome and ruined our nights sleep. Car parking is limited and on the second night we had to park some distance away on the road.
Would we stay again? Yes possibly but only if we upgraded to a room on the other side of the hotel and at a quieter time when parking is easier."
"Third yearr with them. Love the hotel and staff very helpful. Had breakfast, didn't have to wait long for food. Everything in room was excellent. Definitely stay next Year."
"My 2nd visit to thus hotel; room 26 this time, and the entire stay was just as good as the 1st time.
Staff are friendly and courteous, food is very good (I had dinner and breakfast).
The gym was spotless and empty with some decent kit to break off some of the cobwebs after a long day travelling for work.
There is free parking outside.
I've stayed in a couple of hotels in GY, but this is my regular place now.
Very good value for money too!"
Pet-Friendly, Semi-Detached 2-Bed Chalet: Near Broads & Short Walk to Beach
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect little getaway. Very clean and great price. Lots to do on and around the site. We didn’t actually use many of the amenities as we travelled with our dog and couldn’t find any info as to if any of the inside areas were dog friendly. i.e cafe etcKids loved it and were more than happy playing around by the chalet. Lots of nearby beaches, boat trips, railway rides all dog friendly. Simon was a great host, fast communication and clear instructions for arrival and departure. Will definitely be looking to return "
"Check in a was very simple. The gentleman who greeted us was very helpful, he told us we was able to get takeaway and eat within the room. It was within about a 10-15 minute walk to the main town ( we had 2 young children with us) we had a big spacious room on the ground floor. The room was clean and fresh, with towels for our stay, kettle with tea coffee and hot chocolate and milk. Plenty of storage.
The only thing was the neighbours were incredibly noisy one night in the middle of the night but luckily it didnt wake our children.
I would definitely consider staying here again. Very comfortable rooms and a great price :-)"
"The room and bed were very comfortable. We would have liked a fridge in the room, that was the only thing missing.
Breakfast was really nice, good options from both the menu and buffet.
The location was fantastic and the food in the bar was really tasty and big portions too."
"Great Yarmouth is a special time for us we brought our 4 childminder here for many years . This time my wife and I brought our grandson.

OYO Studiotel Great Yarmouth - Modern Hotel Apartments
8/10 Good
"We've been in this hotel 2021 , and with same same passion about it we booked again . Unfortunately hotel is not that clean anymore. Also the guy at reception came out of his room with a underwear and pyjamas which is not professional . Also weve been charged £10 for parking which is first time I see a hotel charge you for parking . Shower gel , shampoo everything was literally ran out and shows there is no regular checks"
