“Had to stay there just because of the name Could do with a freshen up front painted again and a couple of other things Ideal if you only need somwhere to crash out and sleep I would stay again But on my own . Bed was squeaky ”

“When we arrived the owners came to great us. Very friendly, explained everything very well. Room was perfect with a lovely view. Bed comfortable, breakfast was amazing and great selection. Loved the fan on the wall. Only bad thing i would say is upgrade the pillows, uncomfortable, even with 2. Room was hot even with the fan on the wall. ”

“Owner was extremely helpful with parking and showing us the facilities. Room was spacious and comfy. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“A very well run, friendly, spacious, and characterful B&B. I booked a single room, but was given a good size double - they said "all our singles are doubles". Note that breakfast (good cooked, with cereal etc) and parking is included, making it great value. The decor is dated, but very well maintained. My room has a mini fridge, which was an unexpected plus. This is now my first choice for this area.”

“Helen & Jeff are the perfect hosts in every way, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property is extremely well maintained in all areas, it is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a perfect stay. Our room number 5 was very quiet and the bed was super comfortable, the shower is powerful and hot. Breakfast was outstanding and served in a friendly dining area where you are welcomed each morning by the friendly hosts. The atmosphere is amazing. The location is perfect for the……

“Nicole and Nick were very friendly and helpful. We stayed here 2 nights. They provided us with a delicious breakfast each morning and a smile. The stairs may be challenging for older people but we didn't mind the exercise.”

“Had a 3 night stay here early September 2021, the hosts were very helpful and friendly, the building in general and my room was in good condition and clean and the breakfast was cooked well and delicious. The room was a bit small but the beer cooler in it was a nice touch and kept my tins of beer cold for the time I was there. There is no dedicated car parking in the grounds of the Guest House but Parking Permits for each day are given to you to park on the streets surrounding the Guest House……
